The Bengals road to the Super Bowl Thread

Oh wow, I was just thinking about getting this thread back up and running just last night. Yes, it is time to kick things off! As many of you know, a road can be smooth, bumpy, curvy etc. I can go out of my door and get on my road and eventually end up anywhere in the US.
The Bengals started driving last year on this road, and they haven't reached their destination yet, but they are getting there. This year will be one of rebuilding, but just imagine if you will, Joe Burrow driving, Chase in the passenger seat, in the back seat you have Joe Mixon, its just one big roadtrip. I feel like next season, we will be back in the mix.

They are young and obviously unlikely to make a deep run but you never know. They are fun to watch and a good story. Gonna be fun watching Burrow and Chase for many years.

Burrow looks like a yearly 5000 yard guy, in that offense, some of that is taylors offense, and thats not taking away from burrow….its giving credit to taylor. I told bengals fans to look out for them to be pretty good.

Yes, and the best QB they have had in a long time.

He and Chase are going to be a great duo. And Higgins is pretty damn good also.

Higgins is so underrated. Partly bc he was hurt early this year when chase was going off. But when chase cooled off it was higgins getting heavy targets. Dont forget about tyler boyd….who is also extremely good. Ohh and joe mixon who i continue to say is a top 5 rb talent. Yowza is that offense loaded…i hate when out rivals have a bunch of guys you actually like. Boyd is a local guy, went to my alma mater, etc etc… im a burrow fan, love chase, love mixons talent. Heck i still like baker mayfield

And that is their downfall. However, that was my argument with bengals fans pre season. If the d even improved marginally from Last year, the offense was gonna be very good putting up 30 ish a week. So a marginal improvement and they are a scary team. I was right on that. Im wrong alot too, so Ill take this one. But, the one thing that d does well is
stop the run. They are what top 5? So for the playoffs i like that…. Especially against the titans. They showed they can play with the chiefs… titans are winning and finding ways but man, if they get in a hole early i just dont think tanny has it in him.

True, just listing why I don't think they're a SB contender just yet.

But, way better than what most Bungles fans usually expect.....LOL.
