Hard to argue the first part but could easily argue the second
Or top 3. I still have Giannis and KD at 1-2. Giannis deserves it. KD bc of his defense. Steph is playing amazing in the system but he still at 3 imo.

Well they don't have to considering PHX doesn't play them every night. It was a team effort. We will see Friday with no Booker again.

Facts. Booker was on his way to having one of his nights. The biggest issue I see even when both are at full strength is that the Warriors doesn't have anyone to guard Ayton

I think talented teams that play big is a cause for concern but the W's overcome it most games bc of their defense and ability to shoot. Haven't looked at the numbers though. Ayton was aggressive, Draymond is just too short.

Well they were without their best player LOL the Suns defense held the W's under 100 points. The Suns are the best team right now. FACTS
All that matters is who wins in the playoffs

Problem is the Warriors switch everything. A simple pick and roll and bam the suns got the match up they are looking for

Warriors might as well trade everyone and rebuild

Nah just have to find a way around it in a best of 7 aka no more switching or get a true big later this season via the buyout market

Ayton presents problems for damn near every team. Most teams switch and he one of the few bigs that still play inside

I agree. Because of their size only they can stop themselves. Curry can be shut down through effort and stamina. I’d say he is the most entertaining to watch though when he gets going

Ayton doesn't shoot unless he's uncontested (at least that's what I remember from the Lakers/Suns series last year).

Clearly a joke,

But I think people are forgetting that the Warriors have trade assets to land another high impact player should they so choose.

IMO, and it's probably not a popular opinion, Ayton isn't the problem against the Warriors. He's going to get his, sure. But if you swap out a traditional big in there, it's going to create a different set of defensive issues against a top tier 3 point shooting team like the Suns.

The problem yesterday was mostly self inflicted. Let's get the obvious out of the way, Booker only played 15 minutes. Ayton cooked them inside. They made the Warriors turn the ball over 22 times. They held Steph Curry to 4 for 21 shooting. Andrew Wiggins had back spasms and looked incredibly stiff and wasn't as good of a player on both ends of the court. Iguodala, Lee, Klay and Wiseman all didn't play. They were up against a team at its peak on a 16 game win streak playing them at home.

Despite all that, they lost by 8 points in a game that really could have gone either way in the last 3 minutes. I don't see a need for over

Last night shows they need a legit big man for defense and rebounding, and I'm not sure Wiseman will be enough. But not sure I'd want to part with too much either.

Warriors out-rebounded the Suns.
