Correct. Should have at least tried the field goal. If it goes in, you basically win the game. If you miss the field goal, the seahawks have the ball at the 8.

Getting it blocked and returned for a score again is the least likely outcome.

Bad coaches decision.

IMO Rivera did the right thing in going on 4th down. You say a blocked FG isn't likely? A blocked xtra point isn't likely either. You also are not thinking about the holder all the sudden being the kicker so two of the three main personnel were out of position.

I cant really argue this except for the fact that it would have won the game, and almost quite literally could not have been a closer field goal
attempt.

Agreed. Tress is probably a better kicker from short distance than Slye is anyway.

Who here believed the skins defense was gonna stop the hawks from scoring a td on their last drive. I had no faith whatsoever that they would.

Hell, I was already thinking how the Skins were gonna fuck off the game in OT when Fuller picked RW in the end zone.

It really shouldn't have mattered. I think the replay refs were wrong on that pass to Thomas. The ball moved but at no point unless they had one or two frees that showed differently Thomas hand was always under the football.

I would have been okay either way FG or go for it. I will say I think we have hit three or four guys in the helmet this year on kicks and I did not want to let them tie the game that way.

This is what I like the last three weeks. This team is giving all it has. They are playing hard.

I wouldn't even hazard a guess how the last six games will play out. I wouldn't take a guess whether TH can keep up how is playing. What I know is football has been fun again the past few weeks.
