The Fins FO tried to trade up for Burrow. I am an LSU fan. I watched him a lot and know that he is very talented. You don't have to convince me. That said, Tua landed on a better team. I think he will have greater success because of that. The Fins WR group is absolutely stacked. The Fins TE group had a very productive year last year. the Fins Oline and RBs are underrated. Some call the Fins the Patriots South team. I think that's more about the defense. The offense has more of a KC look with the speedy playmakers and versatile RBs.

Agreed - Tua landed with a better organization.

The last 2 years for the Bengals has been a bit interesting because the big voice has been coming from, not Mike Brown, and not even his Daughter - but his grand-daughter - who seems to be more progressive with wanting to win and talks in manners that is a bit different that the past 2 generations. It will be interesting to see, as she continues to grow into the role, how much more will change. She's over seen the two biggest spending years in F/A and also was the mover behind them FINALLY getting a ring of honor for former players/coaches (about 25 years over-due, IMO). So - maybe things are slowing moving into the current generation of how pro-teams are needing to be ran? Only time will tell.

That being said - if the OL changes improve (and it won't take a ton because of how bad the OL was last year) - Burrow is going to have some really good success. Boyd healthy, Higgins in year 2, Chase - Mixon...that's a pretty good base for an offense.

Dolphins will be a team to watch this year, though, for sure. I know my kid is excited for them this year.

Chase could lighten Boyd's work load which could keep him healthier. Chase has the potential to be a star. Perhaps Mixon stays healthy. That would be huge for your team. Burrow will bring the best out of his teammates when given time to make plays.

Dolphins sign LB Baker to a big ass extension. Too much for a guy who’s a liability vs the run.

PFF ranks Tua Tagovailoa 29th among projected starting quarterbacks, ahead of only the Jets’ Zach Wilson, Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts and Denver’s Drew Lock

I'm going with 11-6 for the season, wild card team.

So the grand-daughter is running the team now?

So the grand-daughter is running the team now?
The daughter/Husband (Katie and Troy Blackburn) of Mike Brown is really the de-facto day-to-day people who run the team, Mike is just more, or less, a figurehead at this point. The granddaughter's role, I am not 100% clear on, but she has a position and has, apparently, had a hand in the last 2 off-seasons (2 of the largest spending F/A classes in team history), as well as various upgrades to the fan experience, outreach, social media as well as being the one to finally get the Ring of Honor off the ground and into reality.

More needs to be done, but the change is noticeable. Will it matter on the field? I guess we'll find out.
