Well, you've seen more of him than I have so I won't argue. He had that 50/40/90 season and played solid defense for a much cheaper price. Middleton is more of a third option, not a second option. He had 2 bad nights, btw.
Brogdon is not a bad player by any stretch, but he came to the Pacers to be a #1 ball-handler (beyond the fact that he did not like Milwaukee the city), and his efficiency fell off a cliff his first season here. And he is always hurt at inopportune times. While I wouldn’t trade that guy for a bag of chips (THT), the idea of him as a #2 on a title contender is laughable...

I was clearly wrong on this series. I don’t know if I overplayed in my mind how good the Bucks are or I under sold how good the Nets are.

Put all their eggs into revenge vs Miami. Seems like they forgot there were more series to win after that.
Or maybe the Nets are just that good and in the playoffs the Bucks are that flawed....it was always about if the Nets can defend they can't be beat. Clearly they can defend Milwaukee.

I was one who said let's see the defense...well now we are.

Or maybe the Bucks just didn't shoot well?

The Bucks looked unstoppable against the Heat and lost against the Nets in 2 games. I have a hard time believing that the Nets are a dramatically better defensive team than the Heat.

The Nets have looked really good but I think we should see how the games in Milwaukee go before anointing the Nets.

No the Nets are not a way better defensive team than the Heat overall. But...

They may have a better defensive game plan set up to stop the Bucks based on their personnel

and

The Net are a considerably better offensive team than the Heat. The Nets have offensively blitzed the Bucks. Which in return puts more pressure on the Bucks offense to try and keep up, which also matters.

But you're right, Bucks haven't even played at home yet. It's far from over.

Giannis isn't a #1 option.

Green is a great role player for this team. Not everyone needs to be a star. The lack of role players are the reason the Lakers are watching at home now
Missing AD is what hurt the Lakers.....LOL.

I'm starting to evolve a little on KD. Sure he's emo and weird and he doesn't give a fuck. He doesn't want to be these people's role model (Barkley anyone?). He's a superhero on the court and off the court he's teenage Groot making burner accounts and trolling like we do here.

Do we need another star who says and does everything boring and bland and perfect and calculated? We have those already....

Nothing wrong if he wants to be quirky and weird. Quirky and weird can make for some great interviews and quotes.

But he's become an angry asshole.

Which is a whole different thing.

He doesn't want to deal with the media, the answer is simple...stop playing basketball and the media will eventually leave him alone.

It's more like he's doing him with the media. He's not gonna stop playing, but he's gonna bitch. And if you don't like it he doesn't care.

He just had a cover story in this Sunday's NYT magazine, he's not avoiding the media so much as trolling it.

Then he needs to learn how to troll properly.

Being an angry asshole isn't trolling.

It's just being an angry asshole.

Did you hear the exchange with the reporter yesterday re: his coming back from that Achilles injury? The guy could have probably worded the question a little better, but he was basically complimenting him and KD was an ass to him.

He's a surly teenager. It's not likable but it's different. I'm not saying he's lovable but the IDGAF attitude is refreshing. Just my 2 cents.
