FUCKING FINALLY!

Hell yes. Fuck those fans. USA! USA!

Doesn't the US team have quite a few guys who play in the top leagues in Europe? I just wonder why we aren't dominant in these matchups. Glad they won tonight.

Because our guys that play in those leagues still aren't the best of the best...?

Glad/surprised we beat MEX ...

So players actually got hit in the face with bottles in this match and nothing happened. Yet a plastic water bottle coming "close" to Kyrie and the fan gets arrested and charged with assault.. HMMM

What a great final match. It's good to see this US squad make some progress moving towards WC qualifiers. Still so obvious how flawed we are at certain spots and all of our goals were on corners or penalties. Horvath was just unbelievable. I'm not saying he should start but I'm not sure we win that game if Steffen doesn't get injured. I was a little surprised by some of Berhalter's substitutions but I guess it worked out.

A group of disgusting fans on the Mexico side as usual. Play stops over a chant but throw all your crap at the players and that's ok? No excuse for that or for allowing it.

This roster is packed. Problem is the coach played guys that should be on the bench. Some of the bench players play in EU and are killing it over there yet he seems to favor MLS players.

See post above. Plus they are all young and have no international cap experience with this roster

I don’t like the roster planning at all with regards to starters

back edges can be better

#15 gifting that first goal. that seems to be the weak side of the defense, if I'm seeing things right.

we have a guy like that on FC Cincinnati. score a few goals for the wrong team, gifted a few goals. he's a local guy, so they finally found someone to start ahead of him, he still comes in as a sub.

I watched McKenzie play when he was with the Union.
He was sold to Belgian club, Genk, and plays overseas now.
Played in 13 league games and 3 cup games and Genk won their cup.

He had a brutal night, but you have to remember, he's like 21 or 22 years old.

I'm going to assume long term we play a 4-3-3. If we are going to compete against the better teams we desperately need a CB next to Brooks, a left or right back (with Dest being able to play either) and a striker to step up. There are a lot of options at all 3 spots and many of them young kids who should improve, but so far no one has played well enough to win the jobs outright. I think when Adams is healthy you will see McKennie, Adams and Musah almost every match in the midfield and I expect that for qualifiers in a couple of months. With Adams not fit, Berhalter didn't like the Musah matchup. With him fit we will roll with those 3 and I think it will be a strength of the team.
