Time for John Schneider to go.
You're right.
Hopefully we can find someone who's as good a GM as you pretend to be.

A little spendy I guess considering Pennys history.
Exercising Penny’s option would have meant $4.523M salary in 2022.
I mean if he has a outstanding season then it looks bad but you have to role with the averages here. Also if he has an outstanding season that means Carson was injured again If that happens you might see the Hawks just walk away from him. I like Penny and think he is a fine RB but until he proves he can be a 16 game player it's tough to expect it. Now i am a little easier on his Injury because he was injured in 2019 and didn't get to play but 3 games this year. It wasn't like he got injured last year and again this year. Same Injury but it was over 2 seasons so it hurt a lot more.
You don’t like his results?Time for John Schneider to go.

You are talking to someone who continues to rail about drafting Michael Dickson. No one should take him seriously.
How mad would you guys be if Carson goes down and Penny rushes for 1400 yards and 15 TDs then left in free agency because we declined his option? I guess we can always franchise tag him.
Not mad at all. It's a gamble and the smart play is on that not happening based on all the evidence. If it does, cool, but betting on that in the long run is a loser's bet
I agree with that sir.You are talking to someone who continues to rail about drafting Michael Dickson. No one should take him seriously.
No one really talks about how good our Special Teams were during the SB run. They were right on the verge of breaking the record for least return yards until they let one semi-long one at the end of the year.Michael Dickson is a beast. Top in 20, top 5 in NET, and 2nd in total average. Guy is a monster.
I remember when we drafted him a LOT of analysts were giving it a D/F grade "OMG YOU NEVER TAKE A KICKER THAT EARLY!" and freaking out. I was like, "Well when the fuck are you supposed to take really good ones?" I think I gave it an A or A+ grade. Not to mention when we drafted Dickson we had FOUR 5th round picks and the roster was still pretty decent. It's not like we were the Jets where literally 5th round picks would be starting for you.
Every pick in that draft has been a bust except Dickson... was basically the only homerun Seattle draft pick of that class lol.

Between our now very good kickers, and seemingly loaded ST depth we could have a good one this year. Eskridge and UDFA Wedington both could be big time on ST.
Yah there's definitely room for improvement.
We were below average in nearly everything. Tied 8th for most fair catches, 19th for punt average, 6th worst for the longest punt return (measly 20 yards, Giants had the same long but averaged 3 yards more per put return), 21st in kick return attempts... 13th in kick return average so not too bad there. No TDs in either (which can be a difference maker for even 1 game).
I mean it's not HORRIBLE but not great either. Kick returns is kind of whatever given the touchback puts you on the 25 now... but we can definitely do better on punt return.
And yah, Eskridge looks like a good fit for punt and kick returns. And Cade Johnson I think was a steal and can help fill in a bit here and there in the slot capacity (which IMO is where Eskridge will end up, unless Lockett is injured or takes a rest..).
You say we have one steal in UDFA. I say 3.
Johnson has a Comparison to a RB that i won't say his name but when he played he was Electrifying and Thunder.
The only hint ill give is From Rutgers to Baltimore
Well I know about Cade the most. I didn't say we had 1. I said Cade was ONE steal (IMO) which relates to my post since Eskridge will likely be performing kick duties as well and in the event of an injury it's nice to have Cade because he's a slot machine. And with Lockett/Metcalf as the outside, Eskridge will probably line up in slot most cases. Sure they can shift Lockett inside as well, but better to match him up against #1/2 corners.
If that came off sassy or snooty (lol) I didn't mean it to be.
