They didn’t really lose anything from last year’s 10-6 team but I don’t think Howard is picking off 10 passes again. They reallly leashed Tua towards the end of the season but he was mostly throwing to 4/5/PS WRs at that point.
He was. Whats your take on them making a point to start him after the bye then yanking him ana and out of games. I dunno seems odd. I get that its a professional sport, and you have to perform. But thats gotta be a confidence crusher.

I didn’t make much of it. This whole past season was just a warm up (to me).

If anyone wants to watch Tua at his best, check out him vs AZ. He was the best QB on the field that day.

I do think their defense overproduced last year, if guys can stay healthy they are playoff bound imo. Nice, young roster that will compete for the division, tough division though

I kinda think they're building the next Vikings but we'll see. Vikings did have some success but couldn't get over the hump and it looks like they're trying again. Miami has more ammo than Minnesota ever did so maybe Tua get them somewhere special.

They're definitely going to be a force. I'm just curious as to how high they rise.

The fins are still a big step behind the bills.

they will probably be second in the division. But you can never count out the patriots.

Do they take the jump? I think i dumped on them more than anyone. But another really strong draft.... gotta like what they are doing. That and i still think tua is good.

@RaZon
Well I don't think Tua is the QB to take any team to the next step. Flores will have that D playing lights out but I think the finish third in the division

Do I see them as a good team: yes.

Playoff bound: pass.

There making something good but their are too many great teams in the AFC and the Bills also had a good draft.

Dare I say. The Bills draft made them a legitimate threat for the AFC Crown because they can get to QBs like Mahomes, like Jackson, Like Lawrence, Like Zach's 5th Avenue....

That defense is scary.

Tua looks like he packed on some good 10-20 lb of mass this offseason.

Fwiw, I don't think they make the playoffs next year but probably make it for the four years after that.

Probably going to take 11 wins to make the playoffs next year. Maybe 12.

I like what the Fins have been doing and the direction they are going so I could see them firmly in the wildcard hunt as I still see it as the Bills division to lose.

But the AFC is heavy on the wildcard caliber teams and light on the top tier teams so it's going to be a serious scrum for those 3 wildcard spots.

Are we really trying to make a conclusion about Tua at this point in his career? He played half the season going 6 and 3. He was coming off a devastating hip injury. Thankfully he looks ready to go this offseason. This year will tell us a lot more than last year.

At Bama he was a clutch QB who was known for his accuracy. We saw that last year. He has needed to adjust to better defenses in the NFL. He is making progress.

RE the Fins and the AFC East: All of the teams got better. I think it usually takes 2 to 3 years to judge a draft. That said, the Fins were a borderline playoff team that just added some really good talent. I think the rookies could contribute early on in their careers.

This division will be competitive and a challenge for other teams outside the division when they play AFC East teams.
