Who exactly is the idiot? The guy worth millions that jeopardized all of that for beating someone up or the every day Joe with little to lose other than of course serious injury? Imagine if the guy hit his head on the pavement or something and he killed the guy? Imagine if the guy or one of his friends pulled a gun and shot Donald? You have never show even the slightest ability to not be 100% bias towards your team on any topic whatsoever. We don't know the facts yet, so I'll withhold final judgment, but don't act as there is no issue here or that it is all the fault of this other guy

If the bottle was thrown inside, as compared to outside and right as the fight began, it is going to hurt Donald and/or whomever was with him teaming up on this other guy in court.

They're both idiots, no denying that. I never said Aaron Donald was innocent. Luckily it didn't get worse than it could of.

From outside perspective, it sounds like guy "accidentally" bumped into AD in club, they started arguing. Guy throws bottle at AD and his friends, both parties are asked to leave and AD instigates the fight outside. Of course i could be wrong.

What I do know is that being out drinkingat an after-hours club is not good judgement. Especially for a millionaire public figure.....

I don't know the current set of laws in California but it used to be that a broken bone was an automatic felony.
That usually ups the cost of settlement a good bit.
