Lets talk Wide Receivers. Who do you like the best? Whose the most underrated?

Dont have time to go into now but all the talk about Smith being too skinny for the NFL is:

You know this is the type of stuff GMs look at, though.

I do think weight training is 100x easier than playing Wide Receiver, though. NFL teams will get him to the weight he needs to be at.

Rondale Moore is also quite a bit stronger than Harvin imo. Way more injury prone coming out of college, too

The fact Smith has been apart of a D1 strength program for 4 years with all the nutrition he could want, and still looks like he does, doesn’t give me hope. I wonder what type of supplements these guys take as well.

Everytime I saw Smith play I'd think........who is that I have seen this before. Finally it hit me......Anthony Carter.

That’s not a bad comp there.

Only time I had a championship professional football team to root for was with AC. In the USFL.

Both looking too frail to do what they did/do, both great with ball in hand.

Forgot about his USFL days.
I did hear some stat the other day, and I’m not 100% relaying it properly here. But it was something to the effect of like only 1 receiver 6’1” or taller and 180 or lower had a thousand yard season in the last 20 years.

That could be true, Smith is a rarity, but, if ya put weight on him will he be as dynamic?

I see that Terrace Marshall Jr is also seen as a potential 1st round guy. Bucky Brooks had him in his top 5 WR class. I am adding him to the list.

He is a 2nd coming of Percy Harvin....injury risk and all.

Like Percy, lb for lb one of the stronger, tougher runners you are going to see. Like Percy, he is not your traditional X WR who you can line up on the outside and think you are going to have a lot of success with him. And finally like Percy, if you find creative ways to get the ball into his hands in space, you are going to have a playmaker on your hands.

He is EXACTLY what Green Bay could use.
Moore looks awfully special here. Yes, he does have the injury bug, but so did Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore and Gronk. I get why he's seen as a potential first round guy. The kid does EVERYTHING. NFL teams see him as a guy they can use the kick returning, running game and passing attack. While he's a bit small, Moore is extremely fast and has a fantastic vertical jump. The Ohio State game made him a multiple millionaire.

Smith is a WR that i would like on my team if I was coaching.

One of those that could turn a 5 yard flag route to a 35 yard gain.

Pair him with a Metcalf clone
until someone blows on him and he falls over....but yeah hes got some nice routes, and speed

I forgot about him.

He is a first rounder. Crazy to think he had a 235 yard game with 3 TDs and LSU lost. Nobody on Mizzou could even pretend to cover him.

yep, and hes gonna go higher than the 3-4th round projection on him now from cbs...
I’ve seen a few first round projections. But I assume 2nd.

He plays every role as a receiver and had great success as a return man.

If he skips to the third it had better not be lower than the 7th pick.

I’d doubt it. He’s fully grown at this point. Maybe add 5 pounds...

I’m a huge fan of his game. Would not be upset it Detroit takes him at 7.
