I’ve seen you tap dance around for YEARS making excuses for Rodgers. And he only continues to do the same things we’ve always discussed. That particular game was put right in his lap this year and he couldn’t get it done. It had nothing to do with his defense and everything to do with Rodgers having a million dollar arm and a 10 cent head.

100%
this year was all on him

I’ve defended him and his multiple 41-38 playoff losses

guy actually lost a playoff game 51-45

brady lost one SB because of his defense vs the Eagles, and fans still want BB burned at the cross

No, I’m the laundry guy, you know that

you’re the category 2 guy, which is by far the most logical

I thought amazingly this may have been BBs best coaching job.....that was legitimately a 1-15 roster he won 7 games with

I had a conversation with a Jets fan buddy, and we were discussing what part of the Pats was better than this years Jets team?

the Oline is what we came up with
Belichick definitely over-achieved with that roster this year. They had a ton of guys who didn’t play because of the virus AND had to replace Brady on the fly.

In fact, they almost won in SEA in week 2(Cam stuffed on the goal line to end the game) and I feel like that derailed them quite a bit. Then Cam got the virus and the wheels came off the wagon entirely. But BB had them in position to maybe be a wild card team initially. I have no beef with Belichick. Still the best in the biz.

Bills too
Cam fumbled on like the 5 to take a late lead

Brady lost that SB against Philly because he couldn’t catch a pass and Foles could. Those were the key plays in that game. Also, Jenkins knocking Brandin Cooks out early in that game had a big impact. Brady usually does just fine in those shootout-type games. It just wasn’t their day.

Rodgers has some tough losses where he put up a lot of points, but he also has plenty of games that he should have won and was unable to raise his game. His numbers almost always look pretty, but you can’t trust the guy. In a big game, you are taking Brady over Rodgers every single time.

I like the way you put it Dirt.
I guess I'm a laundry guy to. Team over any player no matter who the player is.

While I certainly would have rooted for the Pats if they were playing TB this year, I found myself having no feeling for Cam Newton at all. I couldn’t fake it. Next year I will be “onboard” more. This was a strange season.

At this point I'm pretty sure Patriots fans would actually prefer that their team never wins another game with Belichick as coach. Gotta make sure Brady looks good and all.
That's an interesting take. Did you put a lot of thought into that? Doesn't seem like you went the extra yard on that.....

Watcha think of fans in baseball?
Still have no idea but 162 has been decided
Huge outdoor stadiums in the Summer??? Everything breaking in MLB’s favor there...so they will probably fuck it all up.

There is no excuse not to have 30-50% capacity in those stadiums and grow from there. We saw the playoffs 4 months ago were doing that already. Should be a lay-up. California will leave them empty, I am sure. I hope NY is more reasonable for you.

We are drawing up a bog outdoor layout for the bar, something new for us. I just don’t know when people are gonna be jamming into bars on top of each other again

One play out of the benched Butler is all that was required.

Glad to hear that you can operate in some capacity. It will probably be a while before people are crowding into bars, but you can definitely do it safely outside. We’ve been doing this shit for a year now. People know what to do.

Look for a large tent now if you haven’t already, they were a pain in the ass to find at the beginning of this shit show...my friends restaurant put a huge one up at his place and saved his business....they connected a huge heating duct and were busy all summer and into the fall.....the outdoor dining was actually awesome, until it became too cold....

I've just never seen one fan base so happy that another team won a Super Bowl. Congrats I guess homie.

I went to visit Mom on Staten Island on Saturday, was freezing out, went to grab some takeout from our favorite place, they had a huge tent with the heating in the back, place was packed, that heating shit must really work

But this does beg the question......will the Super Bowl victor's parade this year take place in Tampa or Boston?
