There are many reasons why he is the GOAT. But this guy is driven to perform at a high level more than any athlete ever in the NFL.

He has gotten so much mileage out of the chip on his shoulder over being a 6th round draft pick. It's unbelievable.

Year after year, TB always manages to find a way to win? Tampa was 7-9 last season.. I figured they might reach the playoffs this season and win one playoff game this season and then maybe next year have a real shot at reaching the Super Bowl. Well, they made it all the way this year. I'm not sure if the Tampa defense can stop the KC offense this year, but impressed that Tom made it this far.
Question, if Tom Brady wins this season, does he retire because he showed that he can win with or without Belichick? If he loses does he keep playing until he is healthy? Also, I feel like the Bucs could be possibly on the verge of being a dominating team for the next few years, especially with Brees looking to be on the way out. IF Tom sticks around, he has a legit shot at winning a few more Super Bowls. Anyway, guys like Tom and Andy just keep plugging away and getting better like fine wine with age and finding ways to get it done. Hats off to them.

Which one of his 2nd half picks in the biggest game of the season was your favorite?

All of them. Each one just made him more determined. And that ladies and gentlemen is difference between TB12 and every other QB in the NFL. When Brady makes a mistake, he gets pissed at Tom Brady and become more determined than ever to make up for it. Did you see Mahomes face when he threw the first INT? He looked like a little kid who had just pooped his pants at recess on the first day of kindergarten.

Bradfy is totally different breed of cat. When there's a flood, he doesn't keep climbing higher, he swims. When there's a fire, he doesn't run away and wait for the fire department he starts throwing buckets of water on it. He's developed a totally different mental attitude about the Quarterback position and it will never be repeated. Unless his son plays football. Then again, attitude is self and can't be gifted or taught.

For most of you, you've only seen Brady in sporadic games while NE fan have seen him in 320 regulars season and 63 playoff games. 99.9% of you have never seen him live or met him. He has an edge that is rare. I don't believe that he is ever relaxed unless he's with his family and there are no other outsiders. Becaus he is so well known, the man can't go anywhere without some asshole pulling out his camera and photigraphing every second that he can get Brady on the camera, hoping that he do something worth selling to TMZ.

When I joined this site in '13 Brady had three SBs and then couldn't get it done. Hadn't won shit since Spygate.

Fast forward 7+ years and only a few scattered retards will still argue that he's not the best ever, but for the rational folks, the dicussion's just over with.

He was bailed out by his defense, period. That’s what happened vs GB

Stop with the determination

he tried to end his teams season, and as usual, the guys that bailed him out, will be forgotten in history, just like those amazing Pats defenses responsible for so much winning

I wouldn’t call that rational

I'm not homosexual but you're openly homophobic.

So, space lasers then?

I never said I had a problem with you wanting to be inside the man

At this point I'm pretty sure Patriots fans would actually prefer that their team never wins another game with Belichick as coach. Gotta make sure Brady looks good and all.

He played a near-perfect first half and put his team in a great position to win. It was 21-10 TB. On the road. Against the #1 seed. Playing the league MVP. Does Rodgers get any blame for being unable to get it done over and over in that game(and throughout his career)?

And don’t tell me Rodgers has “nobody to throw to”. He threw for 48(!!) TD’s this season. Only in your world does that equal “nobody to throw to”.

Well 48 TDs throwing to a group of WRs that wouldn’t even make the TB roster proves his greatness I would say. Adams aside of course

to your point, we all know that if any other QB throws 3 INTs in the 2nd half of an NFC title game, the treatment they would get on this board and in the court of public opinion and media

And if Rodgers doesn’t choke, and he did, and pulls that game out, somehow Brady would have escaped blame and the narrative would be “TB defense choked”

It’s a transition. You can’t just turn the page and pretend to care about Cam Newton. Doesn’t mean you want the Pats to lose, but of course you root for Brady, too.

I think it’s a mixed bag

Pats fans who say “Fuck Brady, I cheer for the Laundry”........

Pats fans who say “I hope he does well but the Pats are my team”.....

Pats fans that are just Buccs fans now and think Belichick is a shitty coach and hate the Patriots.....Snoogins and many guys in this place

Rodgers is a great regular season QB. Come playoff time, he’s another one that shits his pants when the moment is brightest.

You are totally correct here. Brady gave Rodgers opportunity after opportunity in that 2nd half. 3 INT’s should have cost TB the game. But Rodgers IS a choke. We have a huge sample on this guy in big games. It’s what he does.

I agree, no way I could argue that. But I can’t say it without pointing out he never has the better roster than his opponent, or very rarely does

this was the most telling fact I’ve ever seen with Rodgers

in Brady’s career, he has had a defense that finished OUTSIDE the top 10 in scoring - 3 times

in Rodgers career, he has had a defense that finished INSIDE the top 10 in scoring - 3 times

Rodgers has failed far too often, but he has always, every time, had to overcome his defense

To me, Brady(and Gronk to a lesser extent) WERE the Patriots. I found it impossible not to root for that team as soon as I saw them in action.

I’m still a big believer in Belichick. I think he has another act left in him and I look forward to seeing that develop. But this year’s Pats team was so obviously writing the season off. And Cam Newton looked like he’d never thrown a football before. That’s still my team, but this particular edition was lousy(at best).

Can you imagine if Jeter and Mariano had finished their careers with the Brewers(or some other NL team you have no feeling for)? Would you have rooted for them there?

No, I’m the laundry guy, you know that

you’re the category 2 guy, which is by far the most logical

I thought amazingly this may have been BBs best coaching job.....that was legitimately a 1-15 roster he won 7 games with

I had a conversation with a Jets fan buddy, and we were discussing what part of the Pats was better than this years Jets team?

the Oline is what we came up with

I’ve seen you tap dance around for YEARS making excuses for Rodgers. And he only continues to do the same things we’ve always discussed. That particular game was put right in his lap this year and he couldn’t get it done. It had nothing to do with his defense and everything to do with Rodgers having a million dollar arm and a 10 cent head.
