Sorry if I came off bitter... Seasons over, It’s not even the offseason yet, and the Steelers are still trying to give me a heart attack

No worries man. As DJ said he's a good OC. You could do much worse

Too many of these teams will do an interview but not pull the trigger on hiring one.

It's baffling Bienemy hasn't landed a gig yet.

They are saying he doesn't interview well

There’s just no washing the stink off Hue Jackson as a coach in any capacity after his final years in Cleveland.

I want zero part in that

Jim Caldwell, yeah he can be considered a "retread" but he took the Lions to the playoffs how many times? Not a great coach, but definitely a good one. Winning record as a HC.

He and Bienemy would be a better choice than a lot of these unknowns being hired and probably fired within 2-3 years.

Some is fair some isn't. He was given an atrocious roster intentionally. But his ability to lead as an HC was front and center as the team gained a certain energy his last season when he was gone.

I’d pull Todd Haley off his barstool before I’d consider HJ......

Jim Caldwell is better than the last two coaches the Lions hired

“Waste of money”

It’s a futures contract. Which is essentially an offseason minimum contract. It’s what they give Practice Squad players or UDFAs that are essentially trying out. Doesn’t even go into the books until the new league year. They have very little commitment here if this doesn’t work out.
Aah gotcha. I did not see it was a futures contract so money wouldn't be an issue here for sure.

The hate he and HJ held for one another was hilarious

He got run out of town in Pittsburgh, was shocked Cleveland picked him up.....A big drunk to boot.....

Yeah, I understand saying he's a horrible head coach because he was quite frankly......1st hand experience with the Raiders......but he knows how to call plays.

Not surprising that good OCs crap out as HCs. Happens all the time.

Twice.

Got fucked in Dallas by the refs. And didn’t score a TD against the Seahawks.

He never should’ve been fired. But I don’t believe his health is all that great these days.
