Is it a jersey, autograph, tee shirt, photo, and or a memory?

I have a number of autographs, jerseys, and photos. (and memories)

But my favorite, is a practice jersey.
The COWBOY'S organization, in 1996 or 7, was selling off game worn and practice jerseys , pants, shoes, footballs, gloves etc. for charity.
You could order practice jerseys for about $20 each. You couldn't order size, color, or a player's particular number. (I couldn't afford $15,000 for a game worn 8 or 22 jersey.)
They sent out jerseys at random. So I ordered a couple. I got back an Alvin Harper's APEX practice jersey 80. (white with blue numbers) And I got back this other jersey, with the number 71 on it. It was a size 3XL. Obviously, it was Mark Tuinei's practice jersey. Mark was 6 foot 5 inches tall and 314 pounds. (I am 6 foot and 195)
The jersey is big on me, but it's my favorite COWBOY'S collectible. ..............nothing like The Great Wall Of DALLAS.

Staubach once called Mark, the gentle giant. Tuinei played 195 games for the COWBOYS.

Mine is a team picture of the 1970 Dallas Cowboys. My Dad landed tickets to SB5 ( Cotton Bowl season ticket owner) and took me a week early, drove me to where the Cowboys were staying in Fort Lauderdale (Gulf Ocean Mile) Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. I worked the loddy and got every player on that teams autograph....7 HOF'ers in that picture. Staubach, Renfro, Hayse, Adderley, Lilly, Ditka and Landry

Still hangs in my office today.

My Aunt moved to Richardson, TX in 1978. She married a man that already had kids. One of the mans sons was best friends with Mike Ditkas son. Mike Jr. was a ball boy for the Cowboys around 1980. He got me a game used ball. I was 10 at the time. I couldn’t believe how damn big that ball actually was. My hands were too small to throw it. Danny White must have liked it with as much air as possible. It was like a concrete block.

My seat cushion from the 92-92 Super Bowl.

Oh and that tiny am radio it came with and it had a jack for an ear piece. (1 ear)
It saved me when some bonehead had a Sunday wedding during the Mets/Yankees World series.
It fit right into my breast pocket and the wire ran up the back of my suit into my ear.

And yea, I looked like secret service agent.

do you still have the sports cards from that cushion?

some draw a pretty good price today

I'm almost positive they are in a box in the shed ..I remember going through them a while back hoping there was a good one. But I don't think there was. I tossed that folding cardboard you hold up to spell out something during the game ...it was disintegrating.

I'm holding on to mine. I had a Leon Lett card and was thinking it might be worth some coin someday with his great bonehead play.

Still think that was far and away the best halftime. MJ on the scoreboard then coming up thru the sage floor still gives me chills. Epic stuff!

Best part of that trip was staying in a hotel in Thousand Oaks with pretty much all Bills fans. Took a lot of shit in the hotel bar on Saturday night. Not one fan was in that bar Sunday night. My wife and I couldn't understand why. Still makes me laugh today, they were so sure the 3rd time would be the charm.

Local Phone Mart went out of business back in the day and were looking to get rid of stock to keep from having to send it off. Told the manager to let me know if the little jewel below was still there on the final Friday. She sold it to me for half price. Still works. C962845F-8923-4BD5-807F-2A2FFAF18302.jpeg

My favorite COWBOY jersey is the APEX, Home, White, Double Star jersey with the 75th anniversary patch.
It really reflected the 90s COWBOYS. (swagger, a little over the top)
It was (I hate to admit it) designed in part, by Jerry Jone's wife.
I believe it was sold for two seasons, in 1994 and 1995.
My second favorite jersey was the COWBOY'S royal blue, road jersey, during the Staubach, Dorsett, Randy White era.

Lol, I remember many experts thought the Bill's were going to win.. that defense dominated the Bill's. That game was not even as close as t.he final score. They gave the Bill's a TD on a Reich TD when he clearly threw the ball after he crossed the LOS. Scores should have been 59-10 if Lett would not have showboated and that Shit non call dont happen.

I never looked at the Vegas Lines back then. I remember when the kickoff happened , either Enberg or Trumpy said the Cowboys are favored by 7. I couldn’t believe it. That Bills offense was loaded. We had a rough first quarter. I remember Trumpy saying it’s their first Super Bowl.

Aikmans best game ever IMO.

Aikman was clutch in that game. Arguably the best Cowboys team in its history.. the depth on that team was incredible.

I remember the Cowboys were favored, but many thought the Cowboys would lose due to their inexperience.and they thought the Bill's could not possibly lose 3 Superbowls in a row.
