Edelman is under contract to the Patriots. The only way he plays anywhere else is if BB is willing to trade him. That could happenand he could get the desired trade to Tampa Bay so he can finish with TB12. BB is NOT going to cut him loose so he can sign immediately and play with the Bucs in the Playoffs like the Colts did this week so the Packers could pick up T Jared Veldheer immediately.
If Tom wants him as bad as he may need him, then BB will not give him away for a 5th round pick, it'll be more like a 2nd. He gave them Gronk all wrapped in a bow, this time they'll have to pay a bit above the going rate OR trade someone of equal value and a pick.

I can't see a second I can see a third. But do the Bucs really need another WR TB12 may be more interested in James White.Edelman is under contract to the Patriots. Brady is going to get knocked out of the playoffs this weekend. The Bucs defense has proven twice that they cannot slow down the Saints high powered offense, but the Saints defense can rattle the Bucs OL. Brady does not have the Edelman safety valve or the J ames White pressure relief valve and I guarantee he will get both by May 1.But I am thinking more of the lines of he wants to get traded to the Buccs
This is a very good possibility. All though my wife a Florida Gal and Bucs fan has me pulling for them.Brady is going to get knocked out of the playoffs this weekend. He will lose Godwin, but he'll still have Evans and AB and most likely a third WR who will step out of the the woods.

If he can't get to the Bucs he may retire.Either or as @DJ mentioned he might retire..

The wear and tear of an NFL career looks like its getting to Edleman.
Edelman should have a long talk with Wes Welker. Slot receiver and Brady's go-to guy.
My guess is, Welker is already showing signs of CTE. He took a lot of hard hits every game. That was before today's elaborate concussion protocols.
This is what I'm thinking

Another guy who I think may have trouble down the road is Danny Woodhead.Welker had a lot of concussions. Edelman, not so many concussions, but knees, ribs, ankles, back, shoulders, elbows...basically neck down vs neck up.
Me too. The dude gets banged up pretty bad on a regular basis. My understanding is his outside football business ventures net him a few million annually. Retire with your money and your health.
Oh he was great but he was beaten up badly.Another guy who I think may have trouble down the road is Danny Woodhead.
I swear every other game he had his bell rung.
Loved him though.
When I retired from work, I had a hard time remembering what day it was. Every day was Saturday. Still is.Yeah get out while he still actually can stand up straight and knows what day it is
