Not that the Chiefs needed anymore ammo to play against the Browns. Kareem Hunt goes out and gives it to them

Hunt lied to the team. If the Chiefs let him get away with it then no doubt they would have had issues keeping other players in check. I doubt anybody on the Chiefs actually thinks that Hunt isn't really good.

Why the heck are the Chiefs 10 point favorites? They haven't been covering the spread for 2 and a half months now. Vegas still thinks that Andy Reid has a bunch of tricks and that the Chiefs will play better than what they have all season.

Oh I know. If the right Chiefs team shows up then they're big favorites on anyone. Its just that the team is going to have 2 weeks of rust on top of coming off its worst game of the season (the Falcons game) so this really should be closer to a 5 points spread imo.

I think it will be similar to the Browns v Steelers game. Browns come out red hot in first half and Chiefs come rolling back but unlike the Steelers actually finishing the job

FWIW, almost every Chiefs game down the stretch involves the Chiefs having a great first half and then barely hanging on in the 2nd half. I actually think there is a decent chance this is a back and forth game for all 4 quarters. I think the 2nd most likely outcome is the Chiefs blowing the doors off the Browns but a back and forth game is generally what I expect.

Yeah but they can strike in a second with the offense they have and it has been on full display. I really am hoping this is a competitive game and down to the wire. It could be that or a complete blow out by the Chiefs..

This pretty much comes down to the Browns two #1 overall guys. Baker is going to get 1 on 1 looks against the Chiefs DBs in Man Coverage and the Chiefs have been good with that all year. Which is a weird thing to type but its been the main reason why the Chiefs have the #1 seed. The other thing is that Mahomes likes to drop way back in the pocket and Myles Garrett seems like a strip sack threat against Mahomes on almost every play.

I think if they get 3 or more splash plays from those two #1s then the Browns can keep up. The Chiefs will drop some passes and have some penalties and get stuck at the 3 yard line and settle on a field goal. These things happen every game this year.

I went with the Chiefs to repeat at the start of the season, no sense changing horses in mid-stream. But I will say this, the Browns have as much star power on that roster as any team in the NFL.
