Smith was awful the whole 2nd half. I think RR has a big decision to make for Saturday. Smith already said he felt his half in the 2nd half and he didnt even run that much. If he is making dumb plays like he did in the 2nd half and cant move on top of it you ahve to consider a change. The reason why I liked Smith is b/c of his accuracy, decision making and doesnt create turnovers. He didnt do any of that in the 2nd half.

I would agree with you but after that 2nd half last night its making me wonder. Smith cant handle the blitz. We need to score more than 20 points to beat Tampa. its a conversation RR has to have.

You never know. I dont see us getting a QB in FA. Well if you count Allen then maybe him. How can we go with SMith next year? He wont last. Its going to be interesting to see what happens at QB. Well we got all offseason to talk about it. Lets focus on tampa

Then that is a done deal. It will be interesting what happens with the QB's in the off season. If RR is not going to address the QB situation he better bring in 2 or 3 WR's. Either FA or high draft picks.

I'm starting to agree with Dean. Smith was god awful in that game. He is so hobbled that he couldn't avoid my grandmother. It is also affecting his ability to throw. There is just no way that we can beat Brady with that kind of performance at QB. If Alex is no better next sunday, you have to give consideration yo Heineken. I realize the results will probably be the same, but at least you have a slight chance. With Alex only able to play to last night's level. we will have zero chance.

I just don't see RR going away from Smith. Vet coach vet player thing and especially after what Smith has been through. I really don't feel as if we can win with Smith under center (we won in spite of him last night) as he cannot protect himself and will put the offense in bad situations being unable to run. I see us getting behind as Brady carves us up early and often.

To have a chance versus TB the Dline is going to have to put constant pressure on Brady or there is zero chance of a win. That has nothing to do with Alex Smith or Heinicke. If Smith can't go then you go with your fourth string QB. I will say this, if the TB Dline does what it could do then you may have to go to the guy who can move.

he was taking an exam at ODU for a reason people .

now i grant you clint can move round , knows the offense well enough , and has the better arm , but can he compete with a bucs defense in a playoff game ?

You have to start Smith and if he looks injured or they get down early and he's not playing well.....make a decision to go with Heinicke.

They weren't going to yank him last night because they were leading. If the Eagles had taken the lead.....it would have been a different story.
