How the once hated but feared Patriots have now become only half as good as the Browns and meaningless....
Will they ever rise from the scrap heap again in this century ????
I miss hating on them, but now I see why @sonnyblack65 is jumping on the Ravens bandwagon though....Blee Dat.

Nah I'd become a Tompa Bay guy first, but I do like Lamar Jackson, his guts and grit. I had 25 hard years first with NE and then 20 great years, knew it wouldn't last forever

Ha ha, I'm just funnin' you old buddy .
The drop off so far is a little surprising to me, but BB might find lightening in a bottle and make it interesting again so I can torment you all a little.... :D

I'm not crazy about the direction of NE and not sold in on BB like others. Just the fact of him having his 2 young boys coaching in the NFL is insane to me, they should be making their bones in Pop warner or HS. His daughter will be linebackers coach before we know it

Sign Josh Rosen. You clearly aren’t bad enough to draft Lawrence so give Rosen a shot. Let Bill work his magic with a so called bust.

Let's see......................

Raven are in second behind the Steelers, excuse me, Tied for second with the Browns at 4-1.

Patriots are in second in the east at 2-2. Patriots only gave up 19 offensive points to the Chief and the ravens gave up , oh my, 34 point and they had their entire team. Patriots certainly have fallen and their loss to Seattle was with no time left and being stopped on the one yard line.

We'll see how the Ravens and Patriots compare for real on Sunday night November 15.
I don't think that the Raven have a cake walk this year. NFC East might be easy, The AFC East might be a pain in the ass.

What’s wrong with a little nepotism? McDaniels made his brother QB coach while he was in Denver. That didn’t bend horifically. At least not for his brother anyway.

I saw how great it worked out for Denver. Nepotism is something allowed for owners, employees not so much. I'd rather grab a coach from say Saban at Bama , Clemson etc. or ex-players

Ex-players? They’re terrible. Just look at MJ. Look at Gretzky. Jason Garrett. Those guys are clueless.

Time Tebow would be a great coach though.

Let's see BB assistant coaches that took a HC job Mangina, Patricia, McDaniels, Weiss, Crennell and very recent coach O'Brien. His ex-player Vrabel is the best so far, and Flores( college baller) looks decent. Pepper Johnson ( Ex Giants SB champ) good coach in NE and I could name many others.

You mention basketball Lenny Wilkins and Phil Jackson Ex players that are 2 of the winningest in NBA history

Who was the last Denver coach to lift the Lombardi? Wasn't Kubiak a player? Philly's only Lombardi was won by also an ex- QB

Harbaugh no doubt, there are so many good examples. Indy's coach Reich, largest comeback in playoff history when he went in for Jim Kelly. I also always liked Jack Del Rio both as a player and a coach. He was prob the last one to wear a suit and tie on sidelines, nowadays some look homeless

It's usually the HOF players that don't make good coaches but for every one of them in any given sport, I can find you at least 10 ex players that are great coaches.

I was going to say Phil Jackson is basically the GOAT and he’s an ex player. Like what. Lol
