Doc not making any excuses.

Sounded to me like he was making a huge excuse. Maybe I missed the full interview, but one part stood out like an excuse.

He was trying to sell the argument:
1) Denver was some veteran team that had played years together.
2) The Clippers had just met each other before tip off and never played together.

I am glad Tim Legler just called him out for that on Espn.
That was pretty weak stuff for Doc to suggest.

Admittedly I am a Rivers critic though....

Jerry West on Lakers Nation predicted a Lakers vs Clippers Western Conference and last year made fun of Magic Johnson for trading Ivica Zubac...Lol

Lakers were just thrown together last year, and Doc was whining and crying foul in 2010 when the Lakers kicked his ass on the Celtics team

Same old Clippers.

It's pretty clear your team is better and will win it all

I would love to see the Heat or Celtics snuff you but it ain't happening.

Tell CL 67 (I abbreviated it), Shaqdaddy, TF12, Shopson that they were tight.

PS: I fucking hate y'all.....lol"

The Clippers excuses are priceless :pound:

Really going to use team chemistry as the reason? I suppose the Lakers have all been together the last 5 years... :rolleyes2:

I’m sorry but there is no way the Lakers are just walking into the Finals. This team is legit

Yeah, all 3 of the big betting favorites had pretty short odds going into the playoffs. Lakers, Bucks, and Clippers were all around +275. I think there was a perception that no one else had a serious chance, but I think that we're seeing that isn't true.

Nuggets won't be easy to beat. Jokic and Murray are very legit as primary options on offense, and they are supported by a lot of very good players who are young (except Millsap), hungry, and playing with a lot of energy, especially in the second half. Porter Jr. could be an X factor.

The Clipps didn't have the bigs to defend Jokic.....the Lakers do.

Jokic has been so good. So skillful inside and outside and such a great passer. I don't really see anyone shutting him down. And he's got a lot of reliable teammates to pass to. Houston was so disappointing. Harden's passes just often led to his teammates missing their shots.
