Before week one I like the Rams playoff chances, same can be said after week one. Great weapons for Goff, and running game that should be even as the season goes along. Offensive lineman that was going to be a weakness, handled a great defensive line and consistently got a push on them. Injuries in my opinion will decide the West, the Cards are a nice young team that is learning how to win. Should be a great rivalry for the Rams and Cards going into the future. The 49ers will take a step back and the Seahawks are the resilient Seahawks.

As a Panther fan, and seeing the putrid D Sunday, I'm thinking draft before playoffs.

Rams looked good. I thought they were out of their window, and would finish last, but that whole division is up for grabs, I think.

My concern isn't Watson, he's going to be one of the best QBs in the league in a few years. My concern is his O-Line and his weapons. His O-Line can't allow him to get sacked 4 times each week in order to make the playoffs and keep Watson healthy all year. The team that always finished 9-7 made it to the AFC title game last year, went 7-3 when Tannehill took over and has won a lot more playoff games in the last 4 years than Houston has. Rivers didn't looked washed up Sunday. The Jags didn't look like a rebuild project Sunday. His personal stats are great but him and the Houston defense are the only non-question marks on the team for me. Was not impressed with his receivers or his O-Line on Thursday but once again, that was against the Chiefs so let's see how they do against Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Minnesota the next 3 weeks.
In his past 17 games, Rivers is 5-12 with 24 Tds and 22 Ints. The Jags and Titans should be good but its hard to say. The Broncos basically gave the game away in week 1 against the Titans and I think its fair to say that the Titans might have a kicking problem.

The big thing with the Texans is that the first half of their schedule is probably the toughest in the NFL. After that it gets easier for them.

Enough about defending the Texans, though. The Steelers really didn't look all that good week 1 and you're going full homer?

Steelers looked like 2019 TRASH in the first half. 2nd half, much better though. I think going full homer would have them winning the SB but I don't have the even making the SB so maybe I'm going 3/4's homer haha. But like the schedule is one problem with the Texans, our schedule is very favorable for us. We could start 6-0 if we keep momentum going. NY, Denver, Houston, Tennessee, Philly and Cleveland. After that, IMO, we get to the toughest patch of our schedule which is @ Baltimore, @ Dallas, Cincy and Baltimore again. We could go from 6-0 to 7-3 very quickly. But the last 5 games SHOULD be easy. Washington, Buffalo, Cincy, Indy and Cleveland. I think if we were playing games against teams like New England, KC and Seattle like we did last year, we'd be in trouble for sure.
