You fail to see that henry was not even a top half running back for over half his games the prior two seasons. That’s my issue.... you can be great for 4 games.... that’s joe flacco. He win a super bowl.... but beyond that .....

you also fail to see that u less both him an tanny maintain that level, that team is sunk....

He wasn't great for just 4 games though. As stated he was very productive over the course of the 12 Tannehill starts. Henry had 1,570 rushing yards and 15 TDs (14 rushing, 1 receiving) in those 12 games. Having a good effective QB is just as beneficial to a RB and running a game as a good and effective RB is to a QB.

Henry has improved every year from one year to the next. He's just a guy who at 26 years old is hitting his prime.

Again, I haven't said he is going to maintain the insane level of dominance he displayed. But I think he is without question a top 3 RB in the NFL and arguably the best right now. He has entered his prime and he is paired with a good QB so the Titans are in a good spot.

I think Aaron Jones is a top 10 RB in the league.

When hes not that efficient the titans werent very good

and there is my point aaron jones.......the enigma...
Jones had 9 games under 51 or less rushing yards. 9! Most of his damage came in 5 games. He had 11 carries inside the 5 yard line......His 15 rushing scores speak to good offense , and great oppertunity.........But the same truth holds, dude disappears more than he shows up

How do you see the eagles generating enough offense to justify a ranking that high? Where will their offensive production come from?

The eagles finished 9-7 last year. What moves did they make to be ranked the 8th best overall NFL team?
Same could be said about the Seahawks they were 2nd best in their division last year and now has now catapulted to the 2nd best team in the league??

Top offensive HC
Top 5-10 QB
Top 15 rising star dynamic playmaking RB
2 top 10 TEs (one top 3).
And now a focused investment in speed at WR.

Last year with the onslaught of injuries and poor WR play the Eagles still had the 12th ranked offense (yards) in 2019. 15th for scoring. The offense would conceivably be better next year unless all their new WR group falls flat as bad as they were at WR in 2019. Even then they have improved on defense which should also contribute towards them being better. They made the playoffs last year so at worst they were a top 12 team in the NFL and I have them improved up to 8.

I think he’s a prisoner of the moment regarding the Adams trade.

They made the playoffs with a 9-7 record because they played in arguably the worst division in football. At 8th (top 4 in the NFC) you are saying they improve to a record of what exactly?

He was extremely efficient over a wide window of time that was 12 games with a good QB. An incredibly physically impressive talent RB has flashed throughout his career and year by year has improved to the point where now at 26 years old he is clearly now in his prime.

What do I reasonably expect from Henry going forward? I expect him to always be in that race for the rushing title and most rushing TDs for a RB for the next 3-4 years. And for the Titans to get that for the contract they just signed Henry to, that is a great contract for them considering the contracts other top RBs have signed in recent years.

I think they can easily improve to a 11-12 win team. Even last year if they had 3 late/end game situations that were completely swung by bad WR drops. I don't think the Eagles have done enough of offense to have an edge over the top teams in the NFC (Seahawks, 49ers, Saints & Bucs) but I think they should absolutely be a more explosive and dangerous offensive unit this season. But it isn't just the offense, they took one of the best defensive lines in the league and made it better and then made efforts to improve their terrible secondary by trading for Slay and bringing in good low priced talent like Nickell Robey-Coleman.

Was it enough to make them one of the top tier contending teams in the league? No, but that is why I don't have them ranked in that top tier. I have them ranked just outside of it as a team in the tier that I expect them to make the playoffs and while a deep playoff run wouldn't be the most likely it also wouldn't be out of question.

Imagine all players working out on their own, with trainers. I’m sure everyone’s in shape. But the testing ...

You know what is funny?
People have complained for years about all the SportsHoopla surrounding NFL and other major sports. Now, an invisible bug has brought things to a halt. To all major sports.

Bring the sport back without so much SportsHoopla, paparazzi, whatever. Stop the SportsHoopla!

They were the 5th best NFC team last year and remain the 5th best NFC team in the rankings.

The AFC looks like it could be weak this year outside of its top 2-3 teams...but I could make a case for a few to be ranked over the Eagles.
