I watched a bunch of the old series when I found it this spring.I was an avid watcher of the Raymond Burr series way back when.
Now it's Matthews Rhys (Americans) as Mason.
The first episode was fittingly quite dark.
But I'm a bit put off by Mason being the investigator and not the lawyer. Maybe he evolves.
And I kept hoping for an updated version of the classic series music, but was left hanging there as well.
I give it an 8 for it's solo episode so far and PVR is set to record the series.
