Yep, I doubt have we baseball this year and I've talked with a couple people who are expecting a lockout next year

Wonder what ramifications this has for the Braves lineup. Was a backlog of potential starters so I don’t think it effects much of anything. Between the 3rd base battle with johan/Riley and the several starting outfielders, this just gives some of them some more at bats.

Also has anyone heard anything about Hamels? Last I heard he may not be able to start by mid season, but that was about a month ago. Haven’t seen much sense.

Definitely. But i still don’t put much stock into him. Sounds like he hasn’t done anything yet in months. While he has a month to build back strength, will he stay healthy enough to do it?

If he’s gonna need time to be viable after the season starts, we’re better off starting without him. We can’t have a giant hole in the rotation

I think they have 4 solid guys without him. And then the fifth spot could be a tossup with Kyle Wright/Bryse Wilson/ Felix Hernandez. None of those make me comfortable, and with a 60 game season, one liability in the rotation could be detrimental.

I gotta be honest...I’m out on a 60 game season. If we win the championship it won’t feel legit IMO.
