OT Do you have the coronavirus?

2 pre-screenings pretty much confirmed I have it. They told me I most likely have it, but there is no need to get tested because my ailments can be treated at home. To give you a list of my symptoms.

Initial fever - has subsided now
Dry cough
Diarrhea - Yes I had the shits... bad
Aches and pains - It was tough to get out of bed for about 2 days
Constant headache
Shortness of breath - only when I exerted myself

The craziest thing is I literally cannot taste or smell anything.

I don't think I ever heard diarrhea being a symptom before. Isn't that more indicative of the flu?

No reported cases in the facility.

They are simply in lockdown mode.

I'm not sick and likely not carrying so I thought they might let me see him and keep my distance. And I'd usually feed him lunch if I was there at lunch time, but no way to keep your distance.

Sorry you have to go through that but thankfully no one has reported any cases. Stay safe and hang in there the best you can.

Got to say the paranoid side of folks will have them checking off most of these. Me included. Fever ,cough, and shortness of breath, think I could convince myself I have those symptoms. Got those to some degree in any case, but doubt I got the virus .

The Doctor I met with said it is highly possible because of the extensive travel I have done. I have been to at least 10 airports the week before last. Including LaGuardia and LAX. We'll never know all who has/had it because not everyone will be tested.

Im a full week into this shit no work, nothing is open ( stores) roads are empty and day drinking just doesn't feel the same anymore.

My boys are jones ing fort the gym and spring sports, ( I actually thought I heard the youngest say "fuck I miss school" last night)

I talked briefly to a male nurse I hadn't seen in a long while who showed up at the gym Wednesday night. That was the only person I talked to lately. I santize, started wiping as much equipment as I can down, and bring my own cups of ice(McDonald's, etc) with my water. I'm also a germ freak, so I hate eating with my hands.

Diarrhea is a symptom. I had diarrhea for two days straight last week out of no where and thought I had the virus. Took my temp and I was 98.8. So I have no idea what the diarrhea was about.
