I've got no qualms admitting I am absolutely on-board with Minnesota turning the corner and challenging in the West for the forseeable future. Fleck was the perfect guy for the job, and I'd love to see you guys start pulling in some bigger recruits and make some NY6 Bowls. It's awesome that our next matchup in 2021 is the season opener on 9/4.

Speaking of - How is the Minnesota fanbase with visiting fans? I've never heard a single thing. The only experience I have is from back when I was in college and we hosted you guys, and I had some beers on campus with some random visiting fans. They were awesome.

The only ones I've heard complain are Iowa fans, they really hate our Who Hates Iowa, we hate Iowa chant. We don't even need to be playing Iowa to break that chant out. The majority of Iowa fans seem unphased and get the bit, but there are some that are highly sensitive. My only negative encounter with visiting fans was with group of Iowa fans that seemed intent on starting something from the start.

Gophers overall are welcoming group. Fans from other universities are little shocked by our (lack) of game day atmosphere as tailgating sucks and bar scene isn't that great. Downside of having a college in a major urban area. But Gophers fans are generally pretty good with other fans, we're happy to chat. The tailgate lots that are there, there are groups that will welcome strangers if you're brave enough to ask.

If I robbed someone in high school, where does that rate on your purity scale?

If I took a loaded gun to high school and fired it, where does that rate?

If I vandalized a few cars while in college, where does that rate?

If I punched a woman in the face while in college, where does that rate?

If I abused puppies, where does that rate?

Dude, knock it off. The kid did a fucked up thing. Is he some sort of pedo that needs to be on a registry? No, not really. However, it was a really fucked up way to fix a situation that required something far easier and more legal.

All I've said on subject and called you out for turning him into the victim. I haven't demanded he put death, end of his football career, or even be critical of Nebraska for giving him a shot. Not sure why you're jumping down this path.

In general I feel people that mistakes should have ability to redeem themselves.

Cody White just declared. So they will be breaking in not only a new QB but also replacing their top 3 pass catchers. I believe they have to replace like 7 defensive starters too.

I dont see a game on their schedule that i'd call a sure win, except for maybe Toledo and Rutgers (theyll still be awful Schianos first year)

BYU and Da U are probably tossups. Season opener vs NW will be interesting, you gotta think NW at least bounces back a little after this years trainwreck.
