For the sake of argument I am going to say that LSU AND Oklahoma State win out, giving the Sugar and Fiesta Bowl first at large choices. After that the order goes, fiesta-sugar-orange this year:

BCS NCG: LSU v Oklahoma State
Rose: Oregon v Wisconsin
Fiesta: Oklahoma v Stanford
Sugar: Alabama v Houston
Orange: Virginia Tech v Cincinnati

If Houston loses, I think the other at large bid will go to the Virginia Tech - Clemson loser.

If OSU plays LSU in the NCG, that means OSU will have to win the Bedlam game. Chokelahoma shouldn't get a BCS game. Loser of the V Tech-Clemson game should. God damn money might drive the BCS honks to give Chokelahoma a BCS bid. Playoffs! Playoffs! My kingdom for a playoff!

so really we only have the NCG, RB and Fiesta to look forward to...

The sugar and the Orange will be horrible.

These are only predictions. Until the BCS wises up and drops the Big East, there will always be at least 1 uninteresting BCS game.

I get that their predictions but they seem pretty damned close unless more chaos ensues.

As for the Big East...someone has to get the guaranteed win!

The one team from the BIG that sort of scares me this year is Wisconsin. They have two losses but those losses were strange and probably anomalies.

That won't be until 2013 at the earliest... if it happens at all. I wish the Big East would just disappear.

I agree that Oklahoma does not deserve it, but the Fiesta will take them. If West Virginia can win the BE, and they have the tiebreakers if Cincy loses, wencould get another intriguing team in there. I am rooting for a Houston loss as well.

I guess it wouldn't be bad to see Case Keenum vs Bama's defense.

The Big East continues to prevent deserving teams from playing in BCS bowls.

If a non-AQ team finishes in the top 16 of the BCS and above a champion from an AQ conference, such as the Big East, they are guaranteed a spot in the BCS bowls. Therefore, even if Houston loses, Boise will probably be very close to that top 16 ranking and should still be ranked above the Big East champ. Don't think the ACC will get a 2nd bid due to this.

We'll have to see how far BSU drops in the BCS rankings tomorrow.

actually sir, this scenario is great for us

we would probably get in over Stanford

Stanford fans have a reputation for not traveling well

and the Fiesta Bowl with having us twice already knows that we'll travel there

plus who wouldn't want to see Oklahoma vs Boise State????

right now we're 11th in the coaches and should be in the same area for the BCS rankings, partially with the help of the Georgia win.

will the Big East champ even be ranked???
