That was 7 pts. OSU was fvcked out of. People can spin it anyway they want but 7 pts. is 7 pts.

AG, you know I like you, but why are you in this thread? I'm happy to make a thread for 5 loss teams to explain away their 5 losses, but I don't think you were invited to this party.

They'll do this for years. There's nothing going on in Ohio besides a polluted river that catches on fire and black lung. They have to entertain themselves somehow. And they can't accept that the "Greatest Team Ever" was beaten 29-7 after the first quarter. It's a defense mechanism.

The Cuyahoga River fire happened 50 years ago. That's the best you could come up with? Too damn funny. And who exactly are "they"? I hope you're not suggesting all Buckeye fans are boo hooing about the result of that game.

Don't forget about failed balloon launches with tragic endings:

I didn't say it was every Buckeye. Just a ton of fans, the head coach, the QB, and the athletic director.

And I spent time in Ohio. I have a very long experience with Buckeyes and Wolverines touting their Blue Blood status. Compared with most of those accomplishments, 50 years is quite topical.

I can beat that!

Former Cleveland mayor Ralph Perk once cuaght his hair on fire with a welding torch during a ribbon cutting ceremony. And when Tricky Dick was in office he turned down a dinner invite to the White House because it was his wifes bowling night.

Then you have Cincinnati. Their mayor lost his job when he bounced a check to a hooker. His name is Jerry Springer.

It's been 48 hours for chrissakes. Feel free to call us pathetic if it's all we are talking about next year. Or in Miami's case 17 years and a documentary later. I will gladly call any buckeye fan pathetic that makes a whole documentary whining about a call.

Yeah 50 years ago is so relevant I wasn't even around yet. What you can't think of something from this century at least? :heh: Just kidding. And just wondering, what part of Ohio & how long? I'm orignally from Akron. My hometown smells like meth & malt liquor.

But I think it's incorrect to say something that happened 50 years is quite topical. You see anyone still talking about the Celtics dynasty from '57 to '69? How often are the '69 Miracle Mets a topic of discussion? Or Broadway Joe's Super Bowl guarantee?

Actually, pretty close to Akron. I lived in Hartville for a time (I traveled a lot).

It was more a shot at people living on accomplishments from the 1930s and before. And you most definitely still see Michigan and USC fans considering themselves elite programs when they were last relevant more than 50 years ago. Michigan- one shared championship since 1948 and USC one shared title since 1978 (since 2004 was stripped).

Only the Coaches Trophy was stripped. USC still has the AP trophy for 2003 and 2004.

Ken Williamson needs to retire, he clearly isn't on top of the game............

I hear he has dirt on the Clintons.......... Anyone in Washington hear that? He has dirt on the clintons.

Everyone in Washington has dirt on the Clintons, the ones that want to live keep it to themselves.

Obviously Clemson is on the short list of elite programs now

What Dabo has managed to put together has been extraordinary
