The Bears are not known for running the ball.......That's a plus
The Bears have the best kick off return game in the NFL.......That's a minus
The Bear's Hicks ain't back this week.......That's a big plus
The Bear's Amukamara may not play........ That's a plus
Mitchell Trubisky has a fragile psyche
The COWBOY'S D Line could have a big night.
Both kickers FGs are pathetic.
Coaching is even....both idiots
Weather .......40s and light wind
The COWBOYS, FOR A CHANGE, need to score first......

We need to run the football. Dak is having a GREAT season...and we are 6-6. Running the ball keeps our undersized D off the field and fresh when they go in. Get back to pounding the rock, stick with it, and we will start winning again

Running the Football blindly when it wasn't working has cost us games this year. Each game stands on it's own. This team scores points by throwing right now. If we are running the ball well then I'm all for running it more, but the worst thing we can do is run every first down and 80% of both first and 2nd downs when it's doing nothing and we are passing all over teams.

In the red zone the runs are especially just killing us for the most part. Until anyone on this team realizes that the deep, slow developing handoffs up the middle into a 7 plus man front don't work in the red zone I'd throw it 4 times every time we get inside the 10. If we finally start to spread out the defense and run it out of those formations I'll be a little more behind it. Also, after a decade we still change the play every time the defense changes things up at the line and still about 75% of the time they wait for us to audible and then switch to something else. We have talent but we are just stupid and I see no way we all of a sudden start looking like the team that started the year like a juggernaut this week @ Chi. I just don't think we will win. Lastly run the F'ing ball Dak. If I have to watch one more game where you aren't running I'm...well...I'm not going to do anything but complain I guess. He should be scrambling on average about 3 or 4 times and running another 2.

I agree, giving Zeke the ball more is the key to success.

Throwing the ball too much is why this team is 6-6. The key to winning starts with Zeke.

Dak has cost us some first downs this year not running when he needed to. I do not have a good feeling about this game as well. Hope I am wrong. They are not playing well this time of year when you should be turning on the jets.

Running it blindly? Zeke had 12 rushes for what, 71 yards early in the 3rd quarter...and never carried it again.

That's one game. You want to talk about last game or in general? If you want to talk about last game I'll agree we should have run more to an extent because we were running well but once you are down 23-7 you are fighting the clock not just the opponent and when your defense can't stop the other team you need to play it like you'll need 30+. You can't just go into a game thinking we are going to run more and then blindly keep doing it. The Saints game and the end of the Vikings game prove how this idea can just kill us. This Offense goes through Dak now not Zeke. That doesn't mean we should abandon our running game of course, but it just hasn't been great this year.

Also, a good running game works well when paired up with a good defense. We may have had that the last couple of years but this year we don't seem to be able to stop anyone when we need to

Ball control will keep the defense fresh.

I think we need to utilize cobb in this game. He knows that bears defense. .as far as the running game goes Connor William's not getting it done at LG. Need an upgrade and make William's the swing tackle. Maybe that upgrade is Mcgovern, but he has been injured all season so who knows. I think the Cowboys need to run the ball more this game and they may be able to with Hicks out

False. Not getting first downs and going 3 and out will make the defense worse. Moving the ball rests your defense.

OK , the pun / non pun was hilarious.

As soon as I typed the first sentence. I laughed. Felt compelled to add the second.

Seriously though- I realize he was already out tonight so it isn’t so much an immediate issue. But losing him potentially for the duration will hurt.

That has been my issue with this defense for years. They stop a team a few series in a row, we score, then suddenly they can't stop the other team the rest of the game. Or they can't get a quick three and out at the end of the game to give us the ball back. Rinse and Repeat every year for a long while.
