Bayern has cancelled training tomorrow:

The axe is coming tomorrow for Kovac!!!

No axe yet. Given two more games with Olympiakos and Dortmund. Dortmund probably a loss though even at Allianz. Uli retires on 11/15 and he is the last man on the Titanic (Kovac supporter) so after that with no results and international break Kovac could be a goner.

Kovac out. Hansi Flick interim coach.

Just saw this. As bad as his tactics were recently I blame the players and this clown just as much: Hasan Salihamidzic: guy who put all his cards into Leroy Sane, and signed the 2nd best defender on a regulation team (Stuttgart) and center / left back who only started part time and the Coutinho / Perisic desparation move. Last season only signed Goretzka. Not exactly loading up the team with fresh talent. He should get the boot too imo. Uli is already out in week, not exactly management helping.

Back to the players: they pulled this shit with Ancelloti so I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to get Kovac fired too. Their performances with just the basic soccer 101 they can't even manage at this point.

Now we can talk about who is going to get the job? Morinho, Allegre, others? I am in on Ajax coach or Poch.

I bet they dogged it against Frankfurt to get Kovac out. Müller was supposedly whistling with a huge grin on his face in the tunnel before the game, which upset Kovac.

Kovac tactics this year were kind of odd at times, but still I would say the biggest issue is the players now and management:

1) They win the double last year, so that was pretty good in a transition season. Can't blame Kovac losing to Liverpool, especially in the 2nd game when Muller and Kimmich can't control themselves and get suspended for card issues. That is on those two not Kovac. Especially Muller with the Kung Fu kick in the Ajax players head. Irresponsible.
2) Is is all Kovac fault to dump Hummels and sign a regulation defender and injury prone one and keep the over the hill defender who is a walking red card constantly?
3) Is is all Kovac fault that Kingsley Coman has 1 goal in 10 games once given to left back slot after Ribbery let go? Same with Gnabry? Just 2 goals in 10 games? Might have been better to stick with Robbery one more year.
4) Is it all Kovac fault Kimmich being selfish preferred to play midfield instead of his best position at right back therebye forcing the useless Pavard signing?
5) Is it all Kovac fault Muller can't find the net once in 18 games?
6) Is it all Kovac fault midfield / forwards can't make a simple pass, touch, or cross anymore?
7) Is it all Kovac fault no one can defend a simple play and I am including the God awful Sule this season too?
8) Is it all Kovac fault Tolisso was another worthless signing and Goretzka a non entity this season?
9) Is it all Kovac fault that Bayern took Barcas trash off their hands (Countinho)?

Tuesday lineup for me going forward for Olympiakos and back to the 4-2-3-1:

Lewandowski
Davies Goretzka Gnabry
Thiago Javi
Alaba Mai Pavard Kimmich
Neuer

I am done with Coman and Coutinho. I am ready for Davies every game now but not at left back. Can't hurt. Time to try some promising youth.

Good post. Kovac won the double last year. All your points are valid. FC Hollywood all over again. I think Davies is beginning to get his shot, which I hope continues.

Davies deserves his shot....but at left mid/forward only. Coman has had more than his chance and just doesn't cut it. If someone wants to pay 50 mil (or 50 cents) for him I am all for moving him. Coman 100% not with Bayern next season. Not sure what happens to Davies if they sign Sane? We'll see. Davies just turned 19 but he looks like he has a real future.

Yeah, probably not the most ideal, but considering the time of the season etc...

IF he is named, I'd bet is basically a stop-gap "until the end of the season" type deals, then they will find a better manager, perhaps someone like Allegri, Pochettino etc.

Great game for Davies today.

Superb. The whole defense and midfield looked great. Look at Kimmich yesterday too. Ok maybe it was Kovac. They have not given up a shot on goal since Flick took over. 180 minutes Neuer has not had to make a save. I am not changing that back line one bit: Pavard, Javi, Alaba, Davies play til they fail. Javi was a force back there too. He played CB for Pep, so no surprise. Kovac failure appears to be: 1) benching Muller; 2) not using Javi; 3) putting faith into Coutinho. Kovac was right about Davies though. Davies just turned 19. I still think his best spot is further but for now he is needed at the back.

One negative: Countinho needs to permanently sit on the bench. Wasteful. And they still need more from Coman. If Coman does not start scoring more goals, you are going to see Perisic start more often.

Agree re Coman v Perisic. Coman did look decent the other day to his credit.

Starting to think Hansi deserves a shot. They say everyone is happier now that he is the boss, even Coutinho, whom Hansi doesn’t play lol.

Nagelsmann: I would tell Werner to leave if he was developing faster than RB Leipzig | Goal.com

I know we are all supposed to hate RB, but I kind of like them as a fallback BuLi club. They have a good defense, GK, and attacking game. They also have a good coach. I hope Werner stays, but know he will eventually leave.

Nagelsmann wants him to leave so they can move Erling Haland over from RB Salzburg lol. Haland might make a bigger jump than that this summer as some of the big boys are eyeing him.

Wenger taking a FIFI position now, so no Bayern gig for him, thankfully for us fans.

Now rumors of Pep hating living in Manchester and coming back to Munich are popping up. That made me laugh.

Pep leaves if they get hit with the Transfer ban like Chelsea ;)
