I had never heard of this chain before an article in a local newspaper, but there is one opening in a town near me next year. They serve hamburgers, hotdogs, barbeque & milk shakes.

Anyone had experience with this joint that can recommend their food?

They're growing a lot, were only in NC when I was down there in college in the early 2000s.

The food is pretty much standard fast food fare. I never wandered from the burgers, but they have other things like grilled chicken, hot dogs, and BBQ on the menu. I don't think it's as expensive as Five Guys. Milkshakes are killer. Those were a favorite in college.

It's just a high end fast food chain, but the food is cooked to order, no heat lamps. The hamburgers have that fresh charcoal taste. They just introduced some white cheddar bites that are pretty good. My favorite shakes are banana pudding and peach cobbler. Also, they play Christian music over the radio, so I hope you aren't the easily offended type.

Christian music doesn't offend me. I sing it in church every Sunday.

I looked at their website & found it to be kind of ho-hum looking. That's why I was wondering if the food was better than their web presence. The one area that got my attention was their listing of 48 flavors of milkshakes.

I notice they are now in both Carolinas, both Virginias, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi & Maryland.

I know that they were cook to order back in the day. One time we waited like five minutes in the drive thru while they were cooking the bacon.

The Reese's cups milkshake is my favorite.
