The breaks Liverpool is getting this season remind me of the breaks Leicester was getting (particularly down the stretch) when they won the EPL.

Sort of agree but Liverpool outshot Leicester 18-2. They really should have been out of sight long before Leicester scored.

Should have stayed his ass in Germany IMO.

Why go to a team that won't play you much? Who is that helping exactly?

Doesn't help you or the national team.

Pulisic 'hurt' by Lille snub but won't give up
yeah, not sure what he was thinking, especially givenn their track record with young talent, he should've stayed in Germany, or at least went to an EPL team where he could play more. I don't think he'd get much time at Liverpool or City, ManU is a shit show, he probably would have been better off going to Arsenal or Spurs or even Wet Ham, Wolves or Leicester.

Can I have a do over?

Would anyone fault me for abandoning my Everton fandom? It's freaking excruciating! :poke::puke:

I wasn't arguing that Liverpool didn't deserve those 3 points. My point was that with the keeper howler and the PK in 2nd half stoppage time in consecutive weeks it reminded me of the sort of luck that Leicester was getting down the stretch during their title run--winning goals in the last 10 minutes, late PK's (particularly the one that salvaged a draw after Vardy had been sent off for diving earlier in the match). All champions seem to get some of those lucky bounces during the season.

While I'd much prefer Liverpool to win the title over City (or any of the other "big 6" for that matter), keep in mind they are Liverpool, and while all the bounces, etc seem to be going their way now, the bounces (and slips) have had a tendency to go against them at the end of the season in recent years.

funny enough, last night Iwatched the Amazon Series "This Is Football", excellent series BTW. Episode 3 talked about how luck plays such a factor in football, more than any other sport. It had interviews with Pierluigi Collina, Oliver Khan, Juan Mata and several more, including mathmeticians that showed how luck is such a big factor in goals, results etc. I recommend it highly.

Liverpool was very lucky again. That’s a tough penalty to have called against spurs but I think it was the right call.

When is Danny Rose going to stop taking horrible shots. He had two head scratchers the second half today.
