It's dumb on 2 fronts.

Kuchar who is clearly way outside of the spirit of the new rule and he should know it.

And the PGA Tour, The PGA & The R&A ....for undermining one one of the oldest rules in the history of all professional sport. "Play it where it lies"

These wholesale changes to all of these rules were done for no other reason but to boost ratings & revenue.

RJ it's been a spell since I've agreed as strongly with a post at the hoop.

I'd even go back to shoulder height drops.

Get this....now I only have 3 minutes to find my ball but after finding it, I may wait 5 minutes to hit it.

I'm fine with the knee height drop...just faster, but the 3 min / 5 min comment was spot on!

Time for the tour officials to grow a pair. They've talked a good game about slow play and even there they chose to let other players call out the culprit. Same thing here with Kuch...he knows he was perfecting a freaking lie.
