I wish I could have retired at 29 with millions in the bank and having lived my dream. Ready for the next chapter in my life.
Yeah, no kidding. I'd love to retire at 29 and get to stay with my wife and kids... I guess I am just not feeling the sadness others see; sans Colts fans who have every right to be frustrated.

If I were in his situation with $100 million dollars, I would probably retire too and just plan to live happily ever after.

But I'm not an NFL quarterback and I don't want to be one. The good ones come back year after year and play through the pain.

The reports I saw, said the Colts knew as early as 2 weeks ago. Not March, you fucking doofus.

And you actually believe that bullshit?? How stupid are you?

Interesting. His dead cap space is only 18.4 mil.
Didnt the #'s on his contract, but was expecting a lot bigger cap hit for some reason.
Since they arent paying another QB starter money. His retirement wont even hurt the colts capwise.

He is young enough that he can take 2-3 years away from the game and get completely healthy and then decide he's ready to return to the NFL and teams would be throwing money around like crazy trying to attract him to their franchise.

I think Luck is absolutely returning to pro football at some point but I think it will be at least 2 years before he does.

He's making a decision that is good for him and his family. He owes Indy fans nothing.

He left the Colts in good financial condition.

The Sudfeld rumors make too much sense, since he is a FA after this season anyway. Reich is obviously familiar with him from when he was Philly's offensive coordinator. But I like the kid and would hate to see him dealt.

Classy move by Luck. His style of play exposed his body to some pretty good hits. Stay safe.

Fantastic! Are you one of those posters (we have 2, maybe 3) who's taking the reasonable approach and bashing the fans FOR booing?

I don't know what I would've done myself, so I give the fans there a pass.
Yes. Because you look like a fool when you are booing a guy one minute and screaming in ridiculous man love the next. I never boo at a game; only talk shit at home.

In before someone says that it’s all about the productivity of the system. Luck in the Pats would’ve won more cups.

That is where these cookie-cutter questions make us all run around in a circle.

As a Colts fan it's to bad to see this. Still given his health concerns I think this might be for the best.

You know, people said that Colts did not give Luck a line in his early years. He got mauled during that time. He would be a fantastic cosmic warrior.
