My bad. It is somewhat of a remake of the 1st Dolemite movie from the 70s. I am hoping it is more of a tribute though to Rudy Moore and the character he created.

I know I'd certainly have trouble keeping a conversation with Eddie freaking Murphy if Eddie Griffin walked into the room
