As far as conferences go, it’s great for fans. Sucks in terms of national rankings

I’ll side with the fans in this one, no desire to return to usc dominance where there is a predetermined conf king. I’d hate to be a non Bamako fan in the sec

Again, it's not about the top team(s), it's about the middle growing some balls. Parity doesn't mean much when everyone is sucking more or less near the same. We need 5 or 6 that are dangerous enough to bite even top tier teams from the other majors. As I said earlier, that's what 'saves' the conf, not one or two teams making the playoffs. Middle Pac beating good teams outside of the conference. That's where conference respect comes from. Teams making the playoffs don't even really earn much respect when the conf slate is garbage.

Disagree slightly. ACC is mostly garbage, but they get so much appeal just simply from the fact they've won 3 titles the past 6-7 years.

Having the middle come up will help some with conference perception, but what will help MORE is to capture a NC.
