We ain't helping ourselves, but the umps sure aren't either. The Baseball Tonight boys pointed out how they squeezed Ogando last night when he came in.

Can we cool it with the ump shit guys it's their own damn fault if they lose. Not saying there hasn't been some missed calls but it's hardly a scapegoat.

Are you an umpire in your spare time? That's 2 nights in a row that you have gotten upset cause someone said something about the umpiring. Its been bad in this series ,no doubt about it. I don't think we have lost because of it but it hasn't been even like it should be.

What a joke of a strike zone. That was a ball according to what he's been calling.

They had their chance last night. Don't blame the ump, don't blame the cardinals, blame the rangers. They had their chance and they blew it. Twice. Tip your cap to the cardinals.

Let's hope he doesn't go all Donnie Moore on us. I hurts, it hurts like fuck. But don't kill yourselves, wife, kids, or anybody.

I take nothing away from them. They have stepped up when it mattered. I can only hope that the Rangers make something happen at the plate.

I view the crappy umpiring as momentum killers. While it is true that we have been our own worst enemy with crappy pitching, having inconsistent strikes and balls called kills your momentum with batters as well as pitchers.

I'm not saying there's not an issue, all I'm saying is it's pretty lame when fans are focusing on that instead of our own bad play and not giving the Cards any credit at all. It makes us Rangers fans look pretty whiny and look like sore losers. We can give TLR shit for bitching about the strike zone and not giving Texas any credit yet everyone here does the same thing. I'm just pointing out the double standard. I don't think anyone here will question my loyalty or optimism I've shown for this team but the fact is we gotta accept that if we lose, it's mostly because we were outplayed in pretty much every part of the game and give the Cards some credit. That's what classy fans do.

Don't blame the umpiring at all but like I said, it's been one sided. I don't think the umps set out to help the cardinals but it is what it is, the cardinals got help from several calls.

Nobody here would question your loyalty. Doesn't have anything to do with that. You don't see the that the umpiring has had an outcome. I on the other hand think they have had a hand in it. I'm not whining though, just calling like I see it.

With that said, the cards are a great team and had a lot of p,ayers stepped up for them. They deserve it if they win.

It's awfully hard to fault the umps when guys are swinging at balls a foot outside and down around their ankles. They have been doing it all season.

Wow, our pitchers in this series have been absolute shit. It appears that they don't have the heads to win on the biggest stage. Or at least they don't have the heads to do it yet. We absolutely gave this series away with hit batters and walk after walk.

I get pissed off when my teams lose when I percieve that they should have won, but didn't get the breaks. The Rangers gave the breaks to the Cards by not being able to live up to the moment. The mental part of the game is just as important as teh physical. The Rangers have failed the mental side this series in a big way. I don't feel mad anymore beause I think the better team is winning.

It would be some CRAZY ASS SHIT to see the Rangers win it. I've been up since 3am and the only reason I am staying up is to see the Rangers win. Ever since they beat my Tigers and stopped us from a little 2006 revenge, they took on the responsibility of throwing an ass whooping St. Louis.

GO RANGERS

Clearly I do see that. I myself have bitched about it a couple times, but like I said, it's hardly a scapegoat. I'm not going to go in to work on Monday and say we would have won the series if we had better officiating.

Gentlemen it's been a lot of fun. I'll be off this board for awhile as long as this score holds up. Again, it's been a fun ride, even though my heart is breaking at the moment.
