What did he say that made him an assclown? He was asked about Urban Meyer and answered truthfully. Commended him about his stellar record and said exactly what everyone else has said about Urban Meyer.

If he were making up stuff, I would agree wholeheartedly with you. What did he say that wasn’t a fact?

I should add — I havent heard about Washington and Mattison comments yet. I will say — I have zero issue with Washington going to OSU. He is an Ohio native. Mattison — he went for one last pay check before he retires. OSU offered it to him, so he took it. Can’t blame him either.
Who cares if it's true? If Urban was at a presser and someone asked him about Harbaugh's recruiting successes and he said "well he has to do these wild, weird things like have a sleepover at a recruit's house", I'd be very offput as an OSU fan. Sure, it's true, but you sound like a jackass bringing it up unprovoked. Harbaugh's comments on Urban are no different.

I’m bothered more with commenting about the assistant coaches that left.

The Meyer comment doesn’t bother me as it is common knowledge and everyone who follows football know that. Same way I wouldn’t be bothered if someone mentioned Harbaugh’s recruiting tactics.

I think commenting on coaches leaving for twice the amount of money or going back to their home town team is petty though.

I think they were both petty, and that's why he's getting chastised for it as much as he is. He deserves to be.

I love the comment, because it pissed OSU fans off.

Isn't much of a rivalry unless shots are fired once and a while.

I wouldn't say it pissed them off. It mostly made them realize just how petty Harbaugh is. You know what would make the rivalry better? If rather than being concerned about gossiping about non-football related things that happened to a former HC (things that Harbaugh himself has hardly been immune to), he was concerned with actually beating us.

Seems like he pissed a lot of people off with the comments. If it truly didn't bother you, you wouldn't feel compelled to jab back at Harbaugh.

Jabbing back isn't necessarily pissed off...I wasn't pissed at his comments. I thought they were funny. Like bad funny

Harbaugh wary of mental health use in waivers

It’s an interesting point he made. However I’m not sure I would have brought it up. Can’t help but feel he should just leave it alone.
He's correct. If you allow someone to use say depression to get a free transfer, it puts schools and the NCAA in the business of evaluating the validity of their illnesses and would almost certainly be abused. He offered a much better option (and was brought up because he got asked).

You do realize you can comment on something for reasons other than it "bothering" you, right? Pointing out someone being a petty little wiener is simply being observant.

If I was a michigan fan, I'd be more than embarrassed. OSU has owned you for basically two decades, and the only thing your coach can do is dredge up old news to take a cheap shot at his daddy. How sad.

Simply more stupidity, which was further amplified by Hudson's parents coming out and talking about their treatment from the school in this situation. He can't stay out of his own way.

I'm for our coach taking shots at scumbags no matter if we win or lose. It's fun.

Harbaugh did the correct thing with Hudson. He said he wanted to transfer and so Harbaugh said fine. He didn't want to be sued and that's unfortunately the world we live in. Had his depression been the reason he was reaching out, not for transfer, I imagine the interaction would have been different (as backed up by multiple other former players who came out over the weekend).

So when do you start holding him accountable for taking those shots at himself for the pieces of trash he's allowed to stay on michigan's team?

He doesn’t have to make it out like the kids are lying. Because he lost a kid who he doesn’t believe? He didn’t have to go as fair as he did and he offered no solution.

Sorry, but worrying about players transferring rather than taking mental health concerns seriously is just inexcusable.

The solution was offered as a one time transfer with no penalty to anyone, mental illness or not. That's even a more liberal suggestion than the idea of a transfer because of mental illness.
