Welcome back!

It's time for another year of You Suck PickEm, the game where you try to pick the worst of the worst every week. The most fun competition on tHoop every college football season, as voted on by myself and @cwerph the man who makes this all possible.

This is just the roll call currently as well as an introduction for potential new participants.

Last year we had approximately 30 participants, give or take a few most weeks, and I would like to get to about 40 this year.

For those of you who might be reading this and saying "wait what is this" let me give you a quick break down.

You are trying to pick the team that loses by the most each week. Normal pickems you try and pick the winner, but you're trying to pick the loser here. For each point that they lose by, you get a point. So if a team loses by 50, you get 50 points. However, there is a penalty for picking a team that pulls off the upset.

The rules:

1. You must pick 3 games each week. 1 game HAS to be a P5 vs P5. One game must be a G5 vs. G5. The third game can be any other game. That means the ANY can be a P5-P5, G5-G5, or a P5-G5.
2. Notice that nowhere on the list does it say FCS vs. FBS. You CANNOT pick an FCS team to lose. You CAN pick an FCS team to win if you think they'll blow out their FBS opponent.
3. You get 1 point for every point that the team loses by. 35 point loss=35 points.
4. You get -10 points for picking a team to lose, that actually ends up winning.
5. Not making picks results in a week of -30, -10 for each game that you did not pick.
6. Picks must be made by direct message to myself, not @cwerph
7. Picks must be made in the correct format (With 30 participants that is 90 picks I have to enter manually every week)
8. Picks cannot be made before the schedule is posted each week by @cwerph
9. You CANNOT pick a team to lose more than twice. For example, you cannot pick Oregon State to lose every week. Only twice.
10. You CAN pick a team to win as much as you want. For example, you CAN pick Clemson to win every week.

In regards to rule number 7, an example will be posted by either @cwerph or myself once the format is set for the spreadsheet.

Please reply to this thread with your intent to participate or with any other questions.

Last year we had payouts, can't remember the amount but we actually paid out 4 places because of a tie for 2nd place.

@BoiseStateFan27 finished first with 1154 points
@cwerph and @uncfan103 finished tied 2nd with 1135
@gobigred 3rd with 1123
