I hope they have big enough cells.

But will they be not in jail or on parole when it is time for the game?

lol that concept art is fuckin' hilarious. The stadium looks full to simulate a game and the sidewalks surrounding the stadium are PACKED with people... like they just HAVE to marvel at this new stadium and it's the first time they've ever seen a football game. The concept artist should've stuck a bunch of people in the background mountains for good measure.

The giant flame seems pretty cool though... overall design looks pretty sleek. I wonder what the AC bill is going to run monthly... they said the whole thing will be conditioned.

So there is enough rooms for the fans to be locked up. Where are the players going to stay?

I live in the Northwest section of Vegas, so I don't drive by it a lot. I have to say tho when I do, I'm always amazed at the progress they're making. I still keep wondering if they'll have this finished by the start of next season, but the construction seems to be moving along rapidly.

I am not at all close enough to see if they have been working on it and I do head back home today. It has been a bit warm while here around 105 - 107 and I had been wondering if the workers get time off on hot days like that similar to up my way in WI when there are cold days in winter when the wind chill is cold

I have no way of knowing this, but my guess would be no, they work thru the heat. It's not just the stadium, there is both building and highway construction going on big time all over this city. I'm always spotting workers toiling in the intense desert heat. Nasty conditions, but from what I understand, they are well paid.

I live in Vegas as well and I have a good friend who works for a company who is doing the electrical and low voltage work on the stadium.

He tells me that the project is on schedule. They’ve run into issues along the way but the schedule has additional “built in” contingencies dates for unforeseen issues. They have had some issues with the steel involving fabrication and casting issues but they’ve been able to work around them and keep up. Also, lots of additional costs due to the tariffs.

He also tells me that they have 2 shifts working on that thing at all times and even though his trades won’t be in full swing till later they have approximately 150 low voltage techs and electricians on site each day. When their trade gets rolling it will be 250-275 on site employees working.

Pretty exciting stuff

Same here. I honestly try to avoid the Strip.

Give them plenty of water and gatorade so they don't pass the fuck out.

I can tell you that large concrete structures like this always appear to be moving slowly at first. Concrete cannot be rushed. You must wait for curing time before proceeding to next step. Much formwork and rebar installation must happen before the next concrete placement. Once the concrete structure is complete, progress of the project appears to speed up.
