Hope he stays in the division. He's never beaten the Braves.

he has a career 121 ERA+ and that's including his crappy 2019 season. he was a great pitcher up until this season at least. the peripherals aren't nearly as good as they were a few years ago though, and he's getting fewer whiffs in general. I think some shine has come off, but to say he sucks is kind of dumb.

Let's be honest, you don't know anything about baseball if you think Syndergaard sucks. So many quality pitchers are bad this year

Syndergaard is a MLB starting pitcher. He may not be Scherzer, but he's a guy you can be comfortable leaving in the starting rotation from game 1 to game 162.

The Brewers have Woodruff as the only starting pitcher on the roster that they can be somewhat comfortable with. Davies and Chacin have been in the rotation throughout the year, but neither guy invokes confidence. The other two spots have been filled all year by guys bouncing in and out of the bullpen and up and down from the minors.

Syndergaard would be a much-needed upgrade to the Brewers pitching staff. Not sure what the Mets would want in return, but I'd most likely be in favor of trading for Syndergaard as a Brewers fan. He's only 26, only costs $6M and has 2 years of arbitration left.

He's only suffering from Mets starting pitcher syndrome, which has ruined quite a few good arms over the past 4 decades. He and deGrom both have over-pitched for the past couple of seasons because they haven't had confidence in their offense or their bullpen.

He's not an ace, maybe not even a good solid #2 starter, but for some lucky team out there he might be a pretty good #3 or 4 guy.

That sounds like a pretty good fit, then. Woodruff averages 6.0 IP/start, Davies 5.1, Chacin 4.2.

If a Brewers starter makes it through the 5th inning it was a good day.

We'd probably trade you for Chris Sale.

He is a pretty good pitcher but not worth the hype he gets. Will be interesting to see where he gets traded to.

1: He pitches in NY.... If you are halfwy decent you get blow up and saying you're the next Kofax or Ruth
2: He is a quality pitcher, he just pitches for a team that has a worse bullpen than the Red Sox
3: Many teams would be interested in him but the Mets asking price is too steep
4: His Names "THOR" for christ sakes!

Yeah, I don't get where the personality issues come from. Thor's a pretty fun player.

I would love to know what you're basing that on, unless you just think anyone with a personality in sports is

well, his personality just strikes me as one of a dickhead .... just my opinion.

He bitched about having to play a spring game in Syracuse before opening day, saying that he needed the time to move into his apartment before they flew out to Washington.

That was some whiney bullshit. It's part of his job. Especially since they just got Syracuse as they just became their AAA affiliate.

Okay, I haven't heard about that. That is pretty weak.
