Pipita to West Ham?

West Ham want Chelsea flop Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus | Metro News

West Ham have made a move to bring in Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain on loan this season as they look to solve their striker crisis. The Hammers have sold Marko Arnautovic and Lucas Perez this summer while Andy Carroll’s contract has expired, leaving them extremely short up front. Javier Hernandez and Jordan Hugill are now the only strikers left at the club, with the Mexican also being linked with a move away, with Fiorentina interested in his services. The east London club have moved to solve their problem by making a bid to bring Higuain on loan for the season with an option to buy, according to Italian Sky Sports.

They mustn't have watched any of his games for Chelsea last season.

True, but then again, no one except Hazard looked good under Sarri. He did great at Napoli, and good his first two season at Juve. They could do worse, but think they'd be better off getting someone younger from South America, like Cristian Pavon from Boca.

I was surprised to see Everton linked with Moise Kean. Isn't he supposed to be (one of) the top young strikers in Europe?

He wanted to leave in January but Chiellini and co talked him out of it. Said he wasn't playing enough. I can see him leaving Juve, not sure if he would go to Everton though.

Yeah, that's another I've heard. I think there's a little bit of disagreement on the target. Some prefer Kean because Costa is 30 and that is "too old" and doesn't match the philosophy of some.

I like that they're thinking big. They just need that one domino to start making Everton more of a destination club than a way point IMO...

yeah, its funny. He's one of those guys that's been around like 10 years, everyone's heard the name, but no one can tell you much about him...lol

Everton to Arsenal? I hope so:

Arsenal have reportedly agreed a fee with Gremio for Everton Soares.

The Brazil star scored three goals and grabbed two assists during this summer's Copa America.

Fox Sports Brazil claim the Gunners have sent medical staff to Brazil to conduct tests for the 23-year-old.

It is understood the two clubs have agreed a £36million deal.

And Ceballos?

Another source in Spain has claimed Dani Ceballos will join Arsenal.

The Real Madrid midfielder looks set to pen a loan deal with the Gunners, with various reports earlier this week claiming the move will be done this week.

And now Mundo Deportivo back up those claims, reporting that Ceballos is 'about' to sign with the north Londoners.

Also read that Dani Alves wants to move to Arsenal.

In other news:

Kieran Trippier on the move
Kieran Trippier’s time at Tottenham is at an end and his move to Atletico Madrid will be announced later today, says BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein.

“Kieran Trippier’s move from Tottenham to Atletico Madrid is a done deal - England right-back has passed his medical and signed a four-year contract in a deal worth ~£20m plus add-ons, ending his four-year spell at Spurs,” Ornstein wrote on Twitter.

“Transfer to be announced this evening.”

Trippier was also linked with Napoli and Juventus but is now poised to swap the Premier League for La Liga, rather than Serie A.

I was reading Barca targeting David Alaba...and he wants to go. Maybe due to Hernandez signing. I don't think Hernandez is a better option than Alaba. I would be very unhappy if Alaba left.....but Bayern want Dembele and Barca is budging on that. I might be ok with that switch because Bayern really lacks depth in attacking options right now.

Edit: I am reading now that Alaba offered as trait bait for either Sane or Dembele.

Still waiting for official word, but looking more like Everton Soares to Arsenal is on. Arsenal medical team was in Brazil to check him, as well as a team official, probably Edu.

Also, yesterday Gremio played biggest rival Internacional, Everton was not in the starting lineup.

Marco Asensio out for the season. ACL ruptured. Ouch. I wonder if Real Madrid re-evualates Bale and a few others now?

He's gone, Zidane wants nothing to do with him. Supposedly he won't take a pay cut anywhere so that only leave a handful of teams that could afford him, and of those, most don't want or need him. I think unless he takes less wages, he ends up in China or one of the teams in Dubai.

Its cool to see Everton being so active, but hoping this isn't another transfer window where a lot of big names are mentioned, but at the end of the day we STILL don't have a class striker.
