I suspect, whether he succeeds or fails, that he'll continue to get thrown out there every 5th day. The Giants seem to be in no hurry to put three "rookies" in the rotation.

Pomeranz' ERA now under 7. At least 20 teams have to be practically throwing their top prospects at the Giants in trade offerings.

Unfortunately, little league teams are not allowed to make MLB trades.

Pebbles have four .300+ hitters in their lineup.

Sigh, one could only wish.

Giants have three guys above .250
About a week or two ago, I remember the best average on the Giants' starting 8 was around .248. #Progress

This Rockies' pitcher's name reminds me of the former Reds' reliever, Jumbo Diaz. The Giants have a 2nd baseman in the AZL named Ghordy Santos. I hope Jumbo and Ghordy someday play on the same team for at least one day.

Pomeranz and Holland, tzill's favorite players, both doing well tonight. For whatever that's worth with these bats.

Giants' top 5 OPS (with MLB ranking, minimum 150 PAs):
1. Alex Dickerson - 1.304 (not quailfied, would be ranked 1st!) (Taking his Padre numbers, his OPS of .765 would be ranked 161st)
2. Pablo Sandoval - .873 (64th)
3. Aramis Garcia - .798 (not qualified, would be ranked 125th)
4. Brandon Belt - .784 (142nd)
5. Mike Yastrzemski - .751 (not qualified, would be ranked 174th)
6. Stephen Vogt - .750 (not qualified, would be ranked 175th) (since Garcia is in the minor leagues currently)
