So I own a 2014 Toyota Avalon Premium in white with beige leather and chocolate highlights in the interior. Seeing as this is my first car with leather I realize the beige was mistake, looks great but dye transference leads to a lot of upkeep.

So I went looking to trade in / upgrade to a 2019 touring model and again I wanted White with Black leather as White show less dirt. But on the Touring models have these piano black side mirrors and spoiler lip which looks really odd on the all white car. In fact the only car it looked good on was the Black cars. When cleaned and waxed black cars look great but you have to keep them clean and they show scratches more. Just can't fathom what Toyota was thinking with those mirrors and spoiler in piano black on all Touring models.

I'm not really seeing a problem with it.

Maybe they could install white mirrors.

Is it something like this??

The way you described it, it sounded like it looked all gangster or something, but the pic isn't as bad as I thought. It wouldn't prevent me from buying the car, if it's what I wanted.

I understand and for me that may be a deal breaker, and I struggle to buy a black car for a lot of reasons.

Had a black TBird Super Coupe and it was always dirty. Looked great but high maintenance to keep looking great.

Also do not like the black mirrors on the white car. They look like add ons.

Agreed when a black car is cleaned to the nines, they look fantastic but it's a bitch keeping them clean. And I agree Toyota should at least offer the matching mirror color on their top of the line model.

In pollen season I could watch it get dirty even before I dried it off...
