I agree, being all four sports are being drafted at the same time there's really no reason to make limitations at least not the first time it's done.

I could see people just going after two sports and leaving the others just hoping to score real high on the two. With Troy's suggestion of making anyone who doesn't finish top 4 in a given sport only receives five points there's not a real big penalty against going after 2 sports and leaving the rest alone until late.

I think it would work better if we have 10 people in the draft you rank everyone 1-10 and get points accordingly.

From experience probably shouldn't be able to vote for yourself and create a negative point for last place to punish tanking. Usually you can't get buy tanking anyway as more balanced teams will win overalls. But it helps make sure if you are trying to avoid any sort of tanking.

I think it might make it interesting if we made it an all time draft of the 4 majors sports, 24 NFL, 10 NBA, 19 MLB (no bench) 20 NHL. 73 Total players with a cap of 400 all star appearances(a little less than 6 per player). The winner will be lowest composite score wins. Rankings are sent secretly to Nos...For example, we have ten GM's, each GM would send Nos their top 4 picked teams for each sport. If you get a 1st place vote you get 1 point, 2 points for 2nd, and everyone who didn't place in the top 4 will get 5 points for that sport. So say at the end Ritz got 1 for NHL, 5 for MLB, 3 for NBA and 4 for NFL, his score would be 13. Let's say Nos got 3 for NHL, 2 for MLB, 5 for NBA and 1 for NFL. His score would be 11, so Tommy would win. If there is a tie for the Championship, the two GM's teams will be voted on head to head in all four sports for a winner.

I’d say no hockey. For me I would just tank the hockey draft in this scenario knowing even if I tried I would be unlikely to get ranked high in it. We haven’t treated it the same as the other sports in all our time here.

I am fine with golf if we decide that. I would say soccer but I don't know much about soccer either.

I think it would make it more fair for everyone if I only ran the Super Draft and did NOT participate.

LOL, like you're going to just put yourself first in voting to win a mock draft. Bruh, everyone around here knows you're not going to do that. Just put yourself in the draft.

I'd honestly rather just do the big 3 sports, Basketball, Baseball and Football. Since this is our first Super Draft, I think it would be cleanest to keep the amount of sports to a lower amount. Plus like some others around here I have negative knowledge of Hockey, so I'd easily project to be in the bottom 2 at best.

Also I think you would need to up the amount of Basketball players drafted to keep with continuity. If you have only 10 NBA players drafted, there's less positions to fill and makes it more of a priority for that one sport to draft them early, IMO.

I'd say 18 Baseball, 20 Basketball, 22 Football.
