Golden State over Portland in seven but should be six. Bucks over Toronto in six but should be 5.

Also who will the special trophy presenters be for the conference finals presentation?

I'll pick The Big O for Milwaukee.

Mitch Richmond in 2018 for Golden State, 2017 had Chris Mullin. It was Jim Chones for Cleveland in 2017, Larry Nance in 2018.

Bucks in 6, Warriors in 7 (should be 6), Toronto in 5, Portland in 6.

Given how close Toronto vs. Philly, and Portland vs. Denver ended up being, good calls.

Houston vs. Warriors had every game decided by 6 points or less. Not sure if that's been done before.

Boston becomes the first team in history to win their first 5 games, then lose 4.

I'm not sure if that's really an interesting stat or not, since teams losing 4 games in a row, especially after winning game 1 of a series (which is a subset of what Boston did), has happened before. The only difference is that this situation is more explicit for the 2nd round, since a team can only have won 5 games if it was in the second round.

Oops, I didn't post my predictions.

Portland vs. Golden State:

Portland isn't shooting great, but their depth and overall contributions have been enough.

Golden State isn't shooting as great as normal either.

There will probably be less blowouts than normal between these teams.

I'll take Golden State, but any result in a long series wouldn't surprise me.

Golden State in 7.

Trophy Presenter: Baron Davis or Tim Hardaway, I'll go with Hardaway first because the other TMC guys have done it.

Toronto vs. Milwaukee:

Toronto is supposed to be deep, but they're not as reliable as I would have thought.

They do hustle and get rebounds.

Bledsoe hasn't been that good for Milwaukee in the playoffs. But they seem to have more talent.

I'll say Milwaukee in 5, but hope for a longer series. I don't see it going 7, though. Maybe this will be a sweep too.

Milwaukee in 5.

Trophy Presenter: The Big O.

The radio yesterday had a stat that Curry had 14 uncontested shots.

Lillard criticized the defense too:

+++++++++++++++++

The Blazers Defense Wasn’t Made for the Warriors

”That was very poor execution defensively on our part,” Lillard said postgame. “Just having our bigs back that far; understanding the team we are playing against, they are not going to shoot midrange jumpers and try to attack the rim. If they see the opportunity to shoot a 3, they are going to tell you. They shoot it at a high clip. We’ve got to bring our guys up and run them off the line, and tonight, they were setting solid screens and coming off shooting practice shots. That’s the last thing we need if we want to have any chance to beat this team.”

+++++++++++++++++

The article also cites how 7 of Curry's made 3's were uncontested.

Thank goodness Steph traveled after that offensive rebound.

Don't want to give him multiple looks.

65-50 2nd half.

Gotta keep up the rebounding in the second half.

Gotta keep seeing if CJ can keep it up.

There's no point in posting about the 3rd quarter.

It's 89 all, heading into the 4th.

How many times are the Warriors going to score 4 seconds after a Portland made basket? :(

Usually I say blowouts are worse than close losses, but it's also hard to lose a game that you lead with 15 points at halftime.

Horrible.

Toronto almost needed to win yesterday. Portland needed to win today (and one of the next two games).

I've been listening to the first half on the radio.

Now switching to TV.

Portland up 13 at the half. They had an 18 point lead.
