Also worth noting that coming out of high school many of those guys weren't highly rated.
Kevin King: Rated as the #43 CB in the nation. #571 overall.
Sidney Jones: Rated as the #94 athlete in the nation. #1,107 overall.
Taylor Rapp: Rated as the #27 safety in the nation. #470 overall.
Jordan Miller: Rated as the #89 CB in the nation. #970 overall.
Not bad.
Rapp is going to make Seattle pay for that decision.Seattle Seahawks passed on Rapp
DB's ?Meh...we've had 7 first rounders in 8 years. I guess if second round is all you aspire to, you guys are good?

We just lost Save'll Smalls to Oregon. FuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkRapp doesn't have the athleticism to play a single high safety role in Seattle's defense for what it's worth. He projects as a solid, decade-long starter at SS but I wouldn't trust him playing centerfield in the NFL. He's assignment sound and an all around good player, but not a great fit for the Seahawks defense.
Great pick by the Rams and I would've rather had Rapp, but it is what it is.

From what I read it sounds like Rapp can and has played all over the field.
