I dunno, I kinda like Jones. Duke education, seems like a good character dude, talented enough arm, good leader, nothing jumps out and says he WONT be good, nothing jumps out to say he'll be great either, but nothing jumped off Tom Brady's resume either

Is none of the above an option?

I prefer Drew Locke over both, and I think Will Grier is probably just as good and will be available 2 rounds later.

He might not even be that good.

Pretty telling when instead of showing football clips after you get picked, they start talking about your siblings who played other sports in college and your connection to the Manning family.

Sorry, but neither of those things qualify Daniel Jones to be a first round pick.

What's going to be interesting is that Haskins lands with the Skins after being passed on by the Giants, so they'll get to play each other twice every year to see if they might the right decision and he will play so pissed off in those games. As far as I'm concerned the Giants screwed this up anyway because Jones most certainly would have still been there at #17 if Haskins slid all the way to #15, so regardless of how they turned out, the Giants could have had Josh Allen or Ed Oliver and Jones instead of Jones and Dexter Lawrence. Don't get me wrong, I like Dexter Lawrence, but he's not the talent that either Allen or Oliver are.

I am not very impressed with any of the 3 to be honest.

But isn't falling flat against good competition preferential to falling flat against average competition? Because that is basically what Jones did.
