So Simmons and Tobias can't beat anyone without Embiid and Butler.

Why even watch this shit?

No one gives a shit without Embiid.

Simmons really hasn't developed at all.

What a pathetic ending to that Bucks game

I'm not ready to give up on Simmons - I still think he is going to develop into a superstar
However he needs to work on improving his game - mainly obviously his shot

But for me that ending to the Bucks game is why having a true point guard is important
Sixers looked lost - and not just at the end of the game but stretches through the game (and during the season as well)
Simmons can be a good complement to a true point guard but having to rely on him to be a floor general out there does not seem to be working out at the moment and could be the difference between the Sixers being a very good team or a championship caliber team

:2cents:

Looking ahead to the draft, would be very interesting if we can get Matisse Thybulle in the 1st round. Would love to see them use all their 2nd round picks on defensive savants with wingspan+ and just hope one of them learns to hit a 3.

IMO you make one more run with current roster with a new coach, a better fucking coach that this piece of shit Brett Brown.

if they still underachieve then its time to blow it up, Id say move Simmons and keep Embiid, but they might have to play the whos more likely to last a long career card and go with Simmons, even though Embiid is simply the better player

What a disaster.

Wish we had Dario and Shamet back.

predictable loss last night game 2 will go a long way in determining if they even have a chance in series. but atleast we are just 3 losses away from Brett browns firing.

Lol. Did you see that elbow Simmons laid into Lowry's junk? This series imo is going to have a similar gel like the Jets series. I can see the physicality picking up next game and on. Hopefully we can finish these guys off like we did with the Nets. And Embiid being tripped. It's going to be fun and interesting the rest of this series.
