The NE Patriots play in the weakest NFL division. Why does nobody try to dismiss their Super Bowl wins?

I’ll hang up and listen.

#UCFacts

Everyone tries to dismiss every Super Bowl win, every move they make... Every win they make

(1) So I can't bait you into a little shit talking? Okay. Fine. Be that way.

(2a) On a different topic for a moment. Tribe/Tigers 3 game series in the Motor City. (2b) Wonder what dougplayer thinks of the match up?:heh:

(1) I'm a fan ... not an idiot ... sorry there are a few Michigan fans you can bait, but even though I hate ohio state, I can read a box score.

(2a) The Indians are still the class of the AL Central ... I am pleased with the Tigers this year (so far) and you'll probably see me with a pecker loving avatar compliments of @SlinkyRedfoot .

(2b) I don't give a fuck what dougplayer thinks, but he did get hosed by a idiot Iffy.

All wins are most definitely NOT equal.

I don't remember you bragging about beating anyone than Auburn previously for some reason. That's SoS and wins not being equal.

Of course, you know this.

Wrong.

In SOS all wins and loses are equal. That is the math. That is the UCFacts

You were doing double speak. Glad you outed yourself.

I quit doing it a few years ago when my stat source decided they wanted to charge like $1000 for the data. I think it's down to $500 now, but I'm still not paying that just for a hobby.

But it was a ranking system. I designed it back in 2007/2008 when all the "BCS Buster" stuff was going on because I was curious if teams like Boise St/TCU really were legit(spoiler: No, except for Boise St in 2010 which was their best team in that era despite losing to Nevada IIRC).

You can kind of see the old website and some of the rankings here: FBS College Football Computer Rankings, Power Ratings, Strength of Schedule, Predictions, Stats and more.

These are SoS rankings from 2012:

FBS College Football Strength of Schedule Computer Rankings for Week 15 2012

It also predicted the winners of games. Here is the bowl season for 2012. Bowl season is the worst %, it only got 60% of them correct. Most weeks it's about 70-75%. The worse bowl season was like 50%, I think that was 2014, tons of upsets, everyone did badly.

Oh you really don't know what SOS is.

Your link should scream BULLSHIT to anyone who knows math. "
The strength of the schedule is a measure of the quality of opponents a team has faced over a year."

Yeah, that is a bunch of Bullshit.

we won our Conference.

So fucking what? A conference is just a group of teams who get together and decide to play each other most years, share revenue and whatever else.

It doesn't mean shit on the national level.

Oh weeee, I like these brain busters!!!!

UCF should have been and was playing for the NC the last 2 years because..... drum roll.... because.. wait for it.... because we won our Conference. All NCAA sanctioned NCs, and all American Professional sports have a Legit Playoff where if you win your division, conference, league or whatever, you get in a Legit Playoff. This Legit Playoff determines A Champion.

Now, why do tshirt bandwagoners like the beauty pageant style of the Invitational? Why are tshirt bandwagoners scared of competition? Why do tshirt bandwagoners want less, not more games?

#UCFacts

Does UCF play in a P5 conference? Sorry but the only way they win a national title in football would be on your video game system.

I have nothing against UCF. But your should have been talk is comical.

I'll also illustrate why Ranking SOS is beyond retarded.

It's like ranking Batting averages. It would make you believe that there is a big difference Top 25 and Top 75. 0.293 - 0.260 = .033. That variance is actually much greater than the variance that you'll see in FBS SOS between Top 25 and Top 75 due to the inheritance zero sum game in SOS that is not in MLB batting averages.

To illustrate how insignificant Top 25 vs Top 75 or 0.293 - 0.260 = .033, is even with 500 at bats that difference amounts to only 16 more hits. But go ahead and say it. Well #25 could have faced weaker Pitchers than #75. Why doesn't baseball use a stat like that?

(2a) The Indians are still the class of the AL Central ... I am pleased with the Tigers this year (so far) and you'll probably see me with a pecker loving avatar compliments of @SlinkyRedfoot .

Just joking around w/ you. Forget about some of those (only a couple) UofM fans that are over the top & homeristic.

Always been an Indians fan & even w/ their recent success it's still a little tough for me to get excited about the start of the season. It's too damn long.

And doug was a pain in the ass. Can't say I miss him in the ALc thread.

It's an educational techinque - when people don't understand something or are too hard headed on their wrong idea, you give them an analogy that might allow them to see the light and actual UCFacts.

Some people are just too UCFoolish to even understand simplification and analogies.

BTW your #1 & #2 above are double speak and logical contradictions.

Go take a lap, and cool down.

#UCFacts
The "teacher" would need to understand the subject and give an explanation of that subject before trying to use an analogy if this was an "educational technique".
