uh, maybe the fact he coached only 5 seasons at Iowa state and took a 500 team under McDermott as i mentioned and made them winners? 2 Big 12 tournament titles and 4 NCAA tournament appearances in the last 4 years there. made the round of 32 twice and the sweet 16 once.

what don't you like about him?

Who said I didn't like him? All I know about him is from his playing days, and not much from then. I also knew he coached at ISU, then in the NBA with Chicago. How long he coach at these places and how successful he was is a mystery.
I'm not that big of a basketball fan to know that shit. The basketball knowledge and dedication that I possess does not extend beyond the nebraska state line these days. It's been that way for a long time.

Hoiberg makes sense though. Hates recruiting and, as I've heard plenty of times in the last month, you can't recruit players to Nebraska.
